This turbos come out of the same Factory as the TTurbonetics parts come from so they are virtually identical. the only difference is one is these are assembled overseas in the Turbonetics or assembled in California. the machine work is flawless on those turbos I bought two for my twin setup

Turbo Failure during first idle within 3 minutes.
Total failure of the compressor side as well as compressor wheel, Multiple fins broken off. Insane amount of play both lateral and radial movement. And even though the advertisement says nothing about having to have it professionally installed for warranty, They request information such as business licensing number, Business card as well as the technician's name and technicians ASE's and written letter on failure and any missing information may void warrenty. I am a professional technician at Roehl transport and I work on Cummins and Detroit turbo diesel engines daily, I most definitely qualify as a "professional".

Great turbo
Makes some serious stink. Have it on a 302 swapped ranger, and even at 5psi, it works great. Turning it up scares me a little, tbo.Do not use a oil restrictor on this. I initially had a 0.078" and it did cause premature wear.

Amazing product for a less than half the price.
I've had this turbo for 6 months now, and was very Leary about buying a Chinese unit that was fully 1/3rd the price of the nearest American built competitor. It is on a 4.1 l I-6I originally had a twin scroll BW S300SX3 this engine, which required two waste gates. I was told that it would spool faster due to the twin scroll design. After swapping to this mono scroll turbo, I'm gonna have to say I'm past my fear. The turbo spools seemingly just as quick, despite having a bigger compressor, and turbine wheel. the power it makes at the same boost level as before seems unchanged. So far I've put about 2,000 miles on it.The only difference I notice between the two is the spool noise....the new turbo is way louder ( if that can be considered a bad thing)

Pretty decent bang for buck
Not a 2500 dollar Garrett turbo, but does a good job for what it is. Don’t use a restrictor, this old school journal bearing turbo needs a lot of oil flow. Make sure you run a good drain setup or get a scavenger. Fit my sc300

Best boost for your buck
Better quality than I expected, minor flaws but what do you expect for the price. Works great on my gen 3 5.3

Seller sucks
Tried to exchange for a new one or refund and was denied across the board due to the amount of time between purchase and discovering it was defective out the box. It sat unopened for a few months until I was ready for it only to discover it’s no good and now I’ve wasted my money on this junk
