Fits Companion Branded 8" Band Saws from Sears
Very happy with this blade. Back in the late 1990's, I bought a Companion 8" Band Saw at Sears. It was a budget model for those that couldn't afford the higher end pricing. I think I paid under $50 for it. Over the years, some work was needed to make it better, with parts I made and work that I performed. However, Sears never carried the necessary length blade. I had to buy a roll of blade, cut them to length and weld them at work on the company's Do-All band saw with blade welder. I made around 25 or so blades, and was happy. Nearly 20 years since purchasing and making all those blades, my last on was getting very dull. It was to the point that I'd rather cut with a hand saw rather than turning on the saw and possible breaking the blade. And break the blade I did...Late last year.I went on a local hunt for more blades, and nobody carried them. Now that I'm retired, I'm unable to use the employer's welder, so unless I wanted to pay high prices of welding a bunch of blades, I thought there was no other options. I tried searching for blades for the saw online, and found nothing. Heck, the saw is no longer made, as far as I know. I tried punching in the exact length according to the owner's manual, and couldn't find any pre-bade blades. I was about to give in and just buy a new saw when I started punching options on the blade, opening up the length of blade needed to something else that will fit on the wheels...and this blade popped up in my searches. I decided to roll the dice and buy one at the Prime price of $7.99.It fit perfectly and without issue. It cuts like a hot knife through butter. I work with a number of different woods, from hard woods and stabilized burl for knife scales and pistol grips to soft woods used in making doll house furniture for my grand daughters. This thing cuts them all without fail.If you own a Companion 8" band saw, and can't find the proper length blade, this blade will fit it perfectly.

good quality for the price
This blade comes quite sharp, and fits my saw as expected. This is a tough size to find in hardware/box stores around me, so it was nice to find online. Dropped a star off the review because the point where the blade was welded into a loop was ground a little sloppily on the one I received. It hasn't broken yet, but it is clearly a few thousandths thinner than the rest of the blade at that spot and has some deep scratches from the grinder used.

Sharp and lasts
My Bosch blades kept breaking. The last time I went to Lowe's they didn't even have my size. Forget Home Depot their shelves were empty. How do they stay in business? Lowes told me two weeks at best for them to receive the blade. I just laughed. See you later Jerks. Thank you Amazon for being there for us. I've used the Powertec blade on walnut and cherry and still no sign of fatigue. Received blade in 2 work days. If it keeps me out of Lowes, I'll order everything I can from Amazon. Oh did I say goodbye Home Depot? Seriously, they are their own worse enemies.

Wonderful blade
One of the best blades for cutting anything from wood to aluminum. This is my second blade, the first one lasted 8 months in my shop and made lots of cuts in many different materials. It would still be cutting but I tried to cut to sharp of a corner and bent it. Totally my fault. Great blade, one of the best!

Usually 5 stars...
I ordered 2 of these to replace the worn-out blades from the same company. However, both of the Baldes immediately snapped upon first contact with a soft wood.

and makes perfect smooth cuts so far (only used on 3/4" softwood ...
Fit perfectly on my old "Ohio Forge" 10" 3-wheel band saw, and makes perfect smooth cuts so far (only used on 3/4" softwood and hardwood, 1x2, 1x4, & 1x6) Have not had the need to try any thicker wood yet. This is the nicest blade that I've had on this little hobby saw.

It works well
I had issues getting a blade that works with my Trade master saw but this one worked first time. Others would not stay on the pulleys. It cuts well at lease on the first few uses.

Unused
Never used was to large for my bandsaw. Quality seems decent. Unsure how to rate.

Absolute garbage.
The media could not be loaded. The blade I received was dull and doesn't have enough kurf set, it burns the wood and binds in the cut.I have thrown out better cutting blades than what I received.I have requested a refund or exchange.
