Fun, fast and exciting.
The Job is book #3 of a NEW Series by Janet Evanovich, Fox and O'Hare. If you enjoy the Stephanie Plum Series, you'll love this one.Kate O'Hare is an FBI Agent who has spent years chasing con man, Nicholas Fox. She had thought that, when she finally caught him that would be the end. Instead, Fox struck a deal with the FBI and is now working for them to solve other cases -- and, he has been assigned to work with Kate O'Hare. O'Hare is a by-the-rules FBI agent while Nicholas Fox is a charming con man, who is very sexy and very flirtatious. Add in to the mix Kate's father, Jake, retired Special Forces with talent and connections to spare. As well as a never-ending lust for special-ops type excitement and together they make quit a team! The drug kingpin almost doesn't stand a chance.

The Job Review by Baroness Book Trove
CAUTION THIS BOOK REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK YET PLEASE EXIT RIGHT NOW! IF YOU HAVE READ IT PLEASE STAY!Hi my loyal people. Here is a new book review brought to you by me! I finished another book but I am proud to say to all of you that the reason it took so long was for a good reason. As you can see I have changed my blog site from Blogger to WordPress which I am great to say is finally up and working. I hope that you all like it better now. Anyways back to the reason for this blog post!Nick Fox and Kate O’Hare are back with an awesome book. This on, in my opinion, is one of the best books with Nick and Kate in them. These two are like the most dynamic duo that I love to read and watch on the television in shows or in the movies. We have an FBI Agent who has to be teamed up with Nick Fox while letting everyone think that she is out looking for him, because she is the only one that can catch him, but in reality is working with him for the FBI. I mean it’s pretty awesome and something that you don’t get to see every day.Plus the two of them are hilarious together. I mean we have the humor of the two of them together plus the sexual frustration that they both give each other and it just makes it into an awesome book.So in this one Kate and Nick catch at least two baddies, well unintentionally, as the first one was trying to get Nick’s attention and not the FBI’s. I also love the fact that no matter what we always, mostly, see the same team members they hire to help with the cons along with having Kate’s dad. Though I am starting to think that maybe Kate’s dad and Nick have been talking to each other secretly since they almost always agree on everything.I am giving this book five butterflies rating since it’s soo funny and kept me guessing and the whole time I was working on my new blog site with my mom I couldn’t help but think “What is going on with Nick and Kate in this book?” Or my favorite “What type of con is Nick going to pull for this one”. I always end up thinking of these things whenever I read a Fox and O’Hare novel because of the fact that these two are so funny and so good at keeping me on my toes. And sometimes making me wonder if the con will actually work and that they will get the bad guy that they are after.Anyways until next time enjoy this book review brought to you byBaroness’ Book Trove. To read my other blog posts/reviews please go to my site: baronessbooktrove.com

Still fun in the 3d installment. Great narration of the audiobook!
Uh oh. Is Fox going back to his old ways? Is O'Hare going rogue? The latest is a personal revenge job for one of Fox's former colleagues. Nashville, Istanbul, France, Portugal, London... The globetrotting duo will go anywhere, and spare no expense to bring down the drug lord who has the misfortune of being in their crosshairs. Once again, they assemble the A-Team - an actor, Somali former-pirate, the bombshell who can drive any vehicle, a former Marine or two, and a tree house carpenter. They add a Hollywood CGI tech and a ship engineer to round out the crew.I've read quite a bit of Evanovich in the past. To me, this doesn't seem like her usual slapstick. Goldberg, then, must have a very large role in the writing, which I appreciate. While the characters are still quite two dimensional, we're starting to get a bit more sense of what makes Fox and O'Hare tick. The main characters are slightly more mature (both in age and mentality) than the usual Evanovich characters. Still, the book is pretty much an action movie put to paper. Don't expect more than a fun read. I can only hope that the characters sort out their personal baggage and connection before the 25th book in the series. There's only so many times that we can read the same book (only locales and con targets changed) before the series will grow tiresome. The audiobook is absolutely perfect. Every voice is spot on! I traveled to each locale, thanks to the narrator's accents.

Well handled cliche
An obvious plot but it moves smoothly. Essentially Stephanie Plum in similar clothing. Here's 7 more words since it's demanded.

Fox and O'Hare is awesome series
The Job is the 3rd book of con man Nick Fox & FBI agent Kate O'Hare. Their back together to bring down drug lord Lester Menendez. This book is written in same style as previous books in the series. The witty back and forth between the characters, funny dialogue and fast moving pace. The supporting characters, from the previous books, also return. What I truly enjoy about this book and series is the dialogue between the characters. I am always laughing throughout book at the dry sense of humor and situations that the characters find themselves in. How they go about going after their mark. Also, we are taken to different cities all over the world and what I like is the details on each specific city the characters are in. Feels like we're really there. This book along with the previous books, is hard to put down. I almost read entire book in 1 sitting. It's a stand alone book so not necessary to read previous books, but, their also 5 star books as well. There is small mentions of what occurred in the prior books in The Job.The Fox & O'Hare series is my favorite thriller/suspense books, and always look forward to the next book. I most definitely recommend this book and the series to those who enjoy mystery/thriller books. Will not be disappointed.

All a bit silly, but highly enjoyable
The book was much like the others good v evil - good wins out! A bit silly and far fetched in places, but still. Good read.

Wonderful book
I recently discovered this author Janet Evanovich and lee Goldberg writing a series of books on the combination of an FBI agent and a con artist "To catch bigger criminals ." Its beautifully crafted and a pleasure to read. I bought the full series after reading the 1st book "The Hiest". "The Job" follows in a similar pattern and would recommend to all lovers of fiction and action.
