Webkinz Stormy Dragon Plush

The design of the dragon is cute. I am disappointed with the color. It is not as purple as it looks in the photo. Instead, it is very grey and dull with a hint of lavender. It could pass as blue or grey even. I bought this for a girl's diaper cake (I planned the whole cake around this item) and this is now a sad looking cake topper. It is too late to return it so I am stuck with a dull dragon.

This dragon is smaller than I thought it would be. It doesn't look quite so big and wide as in the picture. But he is incredibly cute. I bought him for myself and now my seven-year-old daughter is begging for me to get her one too. He is a pleasant purple color which is more of a mid-purple hue rather than the bluish that shows in the picture. His belly, horns, and tip of the tail reflect the light a bit and look blue, pink, purple and yellow depending on how the light hits it. I think it is the same kind used in the children's book _That's Not My Dragon_. The under-wing and spikes material is different from the belly. It is a very pretty polyester-looking shiny purple fabric. Overall, he is extremely cuddly. I would have liked him a bit bigger. Mine stands 7" tall and 7" from wing tip to wing tip when you spread them out. Otherwise, he's not quite 4" wide. But he looks perky and welcoming if you set him on a desk or bed. I actually had this on my "wish list" here for at least 6 months before giving in and buying him. I'm really picky when it comes to stuffed animals and this is one of the best I've ever had.

I ordered this product in a rush of Christmas shopping for my kids and didn't stop to read the reviews like I usually do; I wish I had.The first problem I had upon opening the box is that this is MUCH smaller than I had realized. That is my own fault for not reading the size dimensions, just pointing it out for anyone who hadn't looked for themselves.Secondly, as others have stated, the color is definitely significantly off from the picture. It is not the brilliant blue-purple shown, but a dull, flat gray.Having said that, I was debating whether to give this review 3-stars or 4-stars. I opted for four because although so much of what I was expecting was wrong, it is still high-quality and adorable. It's soft and cuddly and my 3-year old son won't care at all about the things that bothered me.

This animal was super cute as pictured on-line. My daughter was super excited to have her. BUT, after 3 weeks of normal, gentle play and trips to the store and to grandma's house she brought it to me almost in tears. The dragon she lovingly named Crystal Lightning Arrow was torn on the back seam from her neck to her spines. Now Crystal Lightning Arrow will have to endure back surgery of the worst kind as the tear was significant and bear the scar of poorly sewn stitches made by a mommy who has to "do her best" as an animal surgeon. Let's hope I have some matching purple thread! Too bad this is a girl dragon because I hear that chick dragons dig scars on boy dragons.

I was looking forward to owning this beautiful stuffed animal, I'd heard it was smaller than expected but didn't know it'd be so tiny! I thought I had to have received the wrong toy when I opened it. This is not a cuddly stuffed animal that you can hug, it is barely bigger than a beanie babie toy. I might have kept it if it was closer to $15 but $25 is too much for a palm sized toy. I'm only giving this 3 stars because it is a beautiful dragon, but very small. Returning this.

to start, THIS DRAGON IS NOT BLUE!!! it is a grayish purple color. i was also hoping for a bigger dragon, this guy is smaller than most Webkinz, like the Siamese cat and the Bengal tiger, but is much bigger than a little kinz. he is around the same size as the emperor dragon, i think. BUT he is adorable, really soft, and his horns are shaped like lightning bolts, which is really cool. the shiny material seems pretty durable, and it is on the tail tip, which is a fun detail. i might be a little old to play webkinz, but i love them, and this is my first dragon. i recommend this dragon, just don't buy if you want a big or blue dragon :-)

This dragon is so cute!! I love the light purple color that the dragon is!! There was no damage to the package or stuffed dragon!! There were no rips, or undone stitching on the stuffed dragon!! It is very good quality!! I am very happy with my purchase!! I would definitely recommend this cute dragon!!

Maybe I didn't notice the size at the time I ordered this, but it's very small. The color is way not as vibrant as pictured either -- it's muted.

Boyfriend I bought it for loves her, named her Smokey and has her in his bed every night. Ideal size for anyone.She also dipped head first into some coffee and after a bit of hand washing and drying, hardly any noticeable stain and the only way we can tell is she's still a little damp a few hours later and a slight smell of coffee, which is always nice for coffee lovers!

Wasn't worth the £13 I paid for it . A lot smaller than I imagined . Tiny. Too expensive for its size

highly recommended would buy similiar items again,good price and arrived promptly very pleased with product has met all my expectations.

It's a LOT smaller than expected. Not worth £9.99 in my opinion.
