This product is pretty much as advertised
This product is pretty much as advertised. The bags are spacious and the three unit system is integrated so the whole thing seems pretty stable. The saddle bags are held to the rack with the usual plastic clips on the top and a straight forward horizontal strap that holds them to the lower rack.To be clear, you do get what you pay for. These are not bomb-proof, high-end bags. The horizontal straps are certainly secure but not convenient to attach or detach and I suspect that it would be relatively easy to over-stress the stitching and zippers. That said, I have found them to be suitable to my needs. I have been using them for several months. I bought them specifically to commute 2 or 3 days per week on a twenty mile round trip. I carry about 30 pounds of clothing, books and tools so I have them pretty full and they have worked fine. I haven't been in a downpour yet so I can't speak to the waterproofing system. I'm not sure how I would feel about them for a long road trip, far afield but for what I wanted I think they are a good value.

Very Solid Pannier For The Relatively Low Price
Very nice quality pannier, clips to bike rack with tight, solid fit. Total of 6 separate compartments allow for great organizing with good volume. 3 main compartments can be detached from each other for added flexibility, but I will always use as one unit. Zippers are lighter than I like, but are probably adequate if you don't over-stress. Hooks that tie down the hanging panniers are steel instead of plastic which is a plus. This bag gives me the total volume that I need for long trips without needing to add bags to my front wheel. Rain cover that fits over the entire unit is also a plus but have not used it in the rain yet. Unhooks from the bike without too much effort considering how firmly it attaches to the bike. Used it on local trips so far and am satisfied with its performance.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Exactly what I was looking for. These are very sizeable, lots of nicely-sized pockets and I like that the top part zips onto the side bags and can double as a backpack (although I'm not sure I'd ever use it like that). The zippers seem cheap but I think I can manage. Another reviewer had problems with the grommets, but the ones in mine don't have anything wrong with them. Perfect for the overnight bike trips I've been on so far.

Not the most sturdy
Pros: looks nice. Color matched my red mountain bike. Good capacity. Even came with a canvas covering for rain protectionCons: I used only twice and there was already a 3 cm year along one of the seam lines . I have asked my wife to sew it back for me

Not bad for the price
The canvas bags are not of the highest quality. I split 2 seams just putting my sleeping bag and in it. But; you get what you pay for. Not bad for the price, but if I did it over again I'd spring an extra 30 for higher quality.

Using for adventure motorcycle
These are made for bicycles but am using for an adventure motorcycle. These are half the cost of the Motorcycle made ones. Light modification needed for my use. They seem well made but will update after a year of use.UPDATE: these ripped apart after ONE use traveling on dirt mountain logging roads. I ended up throwing them away and buying a more expensive brand that is actually holding up. Don’t waste your money. They are cheaply made and tear apart.

I was very pleased when I received these bags
I was very pleased when I received these bags. They are light weight and care should be used with the zippers but for the price, they are well worth the money. Bags are very functional and roomy. I can pack all the gear I normally put in my 65 liter backpack so bike-packing is easy with these panniers and top bag. They even provide a full size rain cover that goes over the top bag and side panniers. Save your hard earned money and purchase these instead of the highly overpriced panniers you find in retail outdoor specialty stores.

Not worth it; cheaply made
So here’s the thing: they’re cheaply made from cheap materials. If you really need a quick solution I would recommend you strap a milk crate to your rack. The backpack is still useable but low quality and one of the straps is starting to rip. Zipper on one pannier broke on first use. Really not worth it.
