Great organic mattress
This was rated one of the best organic mattress‘ last year so I purchased it. I don’t regret it at all. It’s softer than I expected but I have a bad back and have found it extremely comfortable and supportive. I’m 70 years old a it’s a very heavy mattress and comes rolled up in a box. I just placed the box at the end of my bed, opened up the box and pulled the mattress onto the platform and took the plastic off. It unrolled and filled out almost instantly. Great mattress

Do not buy.
Company has horrible service. I purchased my bed directly from Awara. The bed is uncomfortable. The sides have very little reinforcement. If two people sleep on the bed the slightest movement can be felt. I want to return the bed. The company will not respond by phone. E-mails and chat messages have not been answered. Very dissatisfied.

Uncomfortable/Not made with the right padding, Poor customer service
Please don't buy this mattress or anything from Resident. We bought the Awara direct from the company, but there is nowhere you can review it on their own site. Their review are highly curated and I believe mostly written by them. You cannot get honest reviews on their website and some of the information about the products is misleading/not what I got in terms of the base. The mattress is not made right--not enough padding. We are both sore and tossing and turning. Customer service is a headache and then to "return" you have to coordinate the donation of the uncomfortable mattress. Once you start looking you will find BBB and FTC complaints and whole facebook groups dedicated to people who feel like they've been scammed by this company.

OMG, DON’T BUY AWARA
The CalKing purchase was easy. The delivery went fine. The mattress was too soft.Easy right? Just “return” it per their advertising. No such thing as a “return”!You are told to donate and document. No help, no coordination, no “return”.I followed all their instructions, met all their written requirements and much more. Now, they won’t refund because they want photos that they never asked for before I disposed of it.Like other reviewers stated, Customer Service is/was absolutely terrible. A different person every time with no continuity. Clearly an entirely different group from the very responsive sales team. Well, apparently it's all about sales.

Relief, finally a latex hybrid that's organic and affordable.
After a few months of watching videos, reading testimonials and testing out a few competitors I finally made the decision to go with Awara. This was one of the best investments I've ever made.I'm a pretty large person so I did extensive research on the most resilient mattresses available and what people recommend for large people. My wife is not a large person and I didnt want to buy something that wouldn't work for her especially since she's a side sleeper. It made this decision very difficult. Further limiting our options was that we new we wanted an organic option for our fur babies and hopefully joining the party soon, non fur babies. We also new latex was the best option for us since it is durable and sleeps cool. We used to always wake up sweating regardless of what our ac unit was set to, we did choose to live near Disney so it's a necessary trade off I suppose. In the end we took a chance on Awara since it seemed to be a great fit. It has been amazing. The mattress is a perfect medium firm so our hip and shoulder pain is gone. I sleep on my stomach and used to have horrible lower back pain and now wake up feeling relieved. The coils also give it great edge support, so I can sleep right up on the edge when I have the dog sprawled out in the middle. who am I kidding, the mattress may as well be his.I hope to get one for mom next...

I'll give it time. I do have a year to decide.
We just got ours a couple of days ago and retired the 10 year old Tempur-Pedic. First thing I discovered coming right out of the gate, it's smaller. Sure it's not quite as tall, I expected that, but it's shorter and narrower. We have it on the old Tempur-Pedic box spring and you can really see the difference in size. It just looks dorky. It's also bouncier than I expected. Maybe I just have to get used to inner springs all over again. After all, it's been 10 years. All the reviews said this bed is very firm. I'm not seeing it. We have a Sealy in the spare bedroom that's firmer and cost half the price. What I do like: I no longer have the sensation of rolling out of bed because of the lack of edge support. This mattress keeps you securely in place but it's easier to move yourself around as opposed to memory foam which you sink into and movement becomes restricted. Definitely cooler to sleep in. No night sweats. Absolutely no off-gassing so no chemical smell. Bottom line: It just doesn't feel like the price we paid. We do have a full year to decide whether or not we'll keep it so the jury's still out on that, so who knows?Six months have passed and I've had it with this mattress. I'm sick of my pillows falling between the mattress and headboard because it's so short. Even more so, I'm tired of waking up with sore ribs and shoulders. Today I initiated the refund process but have yet to get a response. I hope it's not the headache other reviewers have complained about. I'll be sure to update as it progresses (if it even does). Meanwhile I had to bump the ratings down to one star because for the price I paid, it should feel like I'm sleeping on the fluffy bosoms of angels.
