Charges in low light and less than optimum conditions.
Bought this to keep my Jeep charged up. It has a parasitic drain I am not able to identify, so it is just easier to plug this into a power outlet that is always live, and let it maintain the charge. Since it has MPPT, it doesn't need direct sun, and it charge controller prevents it from overcharging once the battery is fully charged. I plug in, throw the panel in the windshield when I park it, and don't worry if I am not driving it for a while. It will start right up.

Works great and as described.
Have it on my mobile fuel station battery. Keeps the battery fully charged. I have not had any issues with it.Switches easily form vehicle to vehicle with suction cups.

Works as advertised
I followed the user guide and installed it on the windshield of my SUV. I connected the cable to the battery. It works - I tested the car battery using a Fluke multimeter and the battery is getting charged. The only complaint I have is that the alligator clips that connect to the car battery are too small. They should have been bigger.

Quit working after only about 8 months.
Installed on my dump trailer to charge the battery and everything was fine for about six or eight months and then it quit working. Trying to say the circuit is not correct. I isolated everything out but still cannot get it to charge.

As Advertised....excellent trickle charger
My 2001 Odyssey is my seldom used utility truck. The battery died multiple times after not being used for long periods of time. This charger has completely solved that problem. I was not able to use the cigarette lighter option because it was controlled by the ignition. I simply run the wire thru the top of the driver door and it's protected by door gasket. It runs down into the hood and to the battery. I have to unplug and remove when starting the car but the key is..the car starts..

This product will drain your battery, not charge it.
I found out too late that this solar panel drained my car battery, so that I couldn't start the car. The reason is that all these battery maintainers draw current from from the battery, at nightime, or when the sun is weak. When this happened to me, I checked. This panel draws at least 10mAmps at night. There is no way for the daytime charging to keep up with this steady power leakage. So it's not a battery maintainer, it's a battery destroyer.I think this is a problem for all the battery maintainers on the Amazon shopping pages. They need to provide the reverse leakage current number, to tell us whether the panel will maintain or discharge the battery. Not a single product on the Amazon page provides the dark leakage current specification, which should be micro-Amps, to avoid discharging your battery.

Keeps my battery charged.
Works good.Only draw back is I wish it came with the battery charging cable SAE to O-ring terminal connectors to install permanently to the battery in addition to the included alligator clamp terminal charging cable.
