My Dog Asks to go into this Backpack!
My husband and I love to go walking with our 13lb dog but she gets hot and tired, so she can't walk as far as we can. We decided to try out this dog backpack so she can have a ride for part of the walks. From the moment I got the backpack, she loved it. She hopped right in! There is a clip inside that you can hook to the dog's collar in case you are worried about them trying to jump out. I will say, that she prefers when we wear the backpack in the front so she can see where we are walking. When we wear the backpack on the back, she likes to try to pop an arm out so she can stand up a little more to see better. When we are walking, she will even stop and stand on her hind legs to jump to the backpack asking to get in. It's easy to put her in and out of the bag even when out in public on walks. She loves the backpack so much that even after I opened it to let her out, she hopped back in (see one of the photos). She didn't want to leave! The material is breathable and light. I highly recommend. The only thing I don't like about it, are the zipper pulls are gloved hands... they look odd to me. I'd like to replace them. But other than that, this is a great buy and better priced than others that were similar that I have seen.

Not sturdy seam work.
I have only used this once. I loved it while I was using until the end of our hike. My dog was able to jump out of the top and the clipped securing her in broke loose. I wasn’t too worried about after that. The carrier could still be used no problem. I put it in the wash today and when I took it out there was a giant hole where the dog securement was supposed to be attached.

Works great for small dog or puppy
Only downside is the straps slip off your shoulders otherwise it works great.

Broke instantly
After reaching the top of our 3k altitude hike our dog was getting winded.... but fear not little guy because we bought you this cool bag! All we have to do is place you in this bag with small adjustments and we're good to go. lastly just have to tighten these shoulder straps annnnnd *snap*...... uhhhh is this suppose to happen?...... is this a built in feature?.....No it wasn't actually. The plastic and connections which for the most part hold the bulk of the weight is the cheapest material ever and with a little tug on the shoulder straps to get that snug fit, instantly broke. With the one shoulder strap we tried walking but 20 min later my dog and myself were not having the best of times. Moral of the story which my college professor said to me 12 years ago, buying cheap is actually more expensive in the long run.

Great design, poor stitching. Reinforce before use.
Backpack is a good design and a nice size for my 8lb min pin but unfortunately the strap broke off on our first walk. Keeping it but reinforcing it with some hand sewing. Beware that the strap may break. Definitely a hazard. You get what you pay for. Just know you should spend some time reinforcing for your pets safety.

Happy Dog!
Our dog loves to ride in the backpack (which can also be worn as a front pack) when he's tired during a long walk. He never tries to get out (there is a safety clip that latches onto a harness also). He loves peeking out and cruisin' along while being held close. We think it helps when he is feeling anxious as well. The backpack is great quality. We did place a folded beach towel at the bottom so he could sit a little higher and make it a bit sturdier. One strap came off but it was simple to sew back on. I'm giving it a 5 star because the overall the quality is good, our dog likes it and it has lots of pockets that come in handy for long walks.

Not sure about this
I was specifically looking for a front pack. This is NOT a front design. It's a backpack that can work on the front. My puppy loves riding in my Camelbak (MULE pack in the helmet pouch) on my front so I decided to invest in a real pack. Aside from the disappointment in the ergonomics of this product, the chemical smell is what I believe keeps my pup from going inside it. I am going to keep the product as my puppy will be outgrowing the Camelbak. I think the most difficult thing about this is the difference in a crate-style with room to move and a papoose-style bag fit. Other than a flat piece to keep the bottom flat, the product it fully collapsible like a bag, which is what I was looking for. I do not want to wear a box on my chest. My little guy is almost 6 lbs. and has plenty of room in the bag. I could have gone even smaller for that papoose fit. Hope this helps.

Works well, great price, give it a try!
Here is the backpack on myself and a friend to show how it can fit different size people. This helps me move around quickly and inside stores when I take my cat, Edwin, on walks. I put his harness on and then clip him into the bag. Sometimes he tolerates it better than other times. When he squirms, the adjustability of the neck hole helps and the strap help keep him contained. When I first put him in, he was choking himself against the neck hole by leaning into it 🤦♀️ so I adjusted the hole bigger. I’m sure he could jump out of it weren’t for the strap holding him in. I get what others are saying about wanting a more rigid base; the base does sag a bit when my cat is inside of it.But all-in-all, I think this bag is excellent quality for the price and sure beats putting Edwin in a tote bag to carry him around! It does the job without any major problems.

Very Good Quality
Our little poodle with a screwed up knee likes sitting in it on our walks. She is slightly disabled now she injured her knee. Now we can take her and not have to carry her part way. Hubby finds it more comfortable wearing as a backpack instead of in front.

Nice quality.
Perfect for our small Havanese puppy. It helps if you use a Velcro strip to hold the shoulder straps from sliding down your shoulder.

Cat loves it
My kitty loves to go outside but isn't a huge fan of being on the ground. I previously got one of these that has the holes for cats paws to go through but he hated that. He always moved to the side and kept his legs in and tried to get out constantly. So I got this to make him more comfortable. The minute I got this I put it on and put him in it. He loves it! I tried to see if he'd jump out by lowering him to our countertop and he just sat in the backpack/carrier looking around. I had to push him out and onto the counter. There's a hard cardboard like frame for the bottom which helps him have a platform to sit on which is perfect for him. I highly recommend this!!!!

Not a lot of support
We had to return this as it didn't feel like it would provide enough support for our small dog. She's just under 10 lbs, but it felt like the bottom of the bag was not sturdy enough.
