An intimate look into mental illness. Simply powerful.
This book is raw and insightful. It's sad and beautiful and honest. You’ll look through a hundred tiny windows into different people's lives. There’s no other way to showcase mental illness and its tragedies, victories, trauma, and beauty than to have people tell their stories and express them through different media. I absolutely love it.

very helpful book for parents and teenagers
As a parent i appreciated the book's detailed descriptions of various behaviors that may help indicate emerging health and safety issues concerning my own teenager's struggles with the stress of growing up. I liked that the book wasn't too technical, but explained different categories of craziness in various ways, and was valuable helping me as a parent better understand inner struggles, and solutions. From my teenager's point of view the book helped explain how they and others may feel, cope, and express craziness through original artwork, poetry, and other constructive and destructive ways. In a nutshell i thought the book helped us focus on positive change where passion and action can be constructive ; hopelessness and worry/anxiety easily becomes destructive.

Great book for those with mental illness
I found this book very helpful. I think it would be especially good for people who are just coming to grips with their mental illnesses. So many of the books out there are technical and hard to understand. This book is an approachable and compassionate one.

Absolutely AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend the book "CRAZY" to anyone who struggles or knows someone who struggles with mental illness. This book is beautiful and visually AMAZING. It is full of art, writings and facts by over 150 people who are affiliated with mental illness. It won the Colorado book award for best pictorial. It is absolutely an amazing book and would be great just to have on your coffee tablet to look at a few pages at a time. It is wonderful!

This book is a great "coffee table" book on mental illness
Such a great book to pick up and read and reread. So many thoughts and answered questions while reading. I have struggled with the word crazy for so long, almost scary to say the word out loud. After reading this book I fully understand what crazy is. This book is a great "coffee table" book on mental illness. A great perspective of how people have lived and are living with mental illness.
