Great product, plan to order more
I purchased this shirt for general wear but also for use on extended bicycle tours. I've used many synthetic garments from top end brands such as patagonia, nike, under armor and north face with similar and somewhat smelly results. Despite the anti microbial properties of many synthetic garments I've never felt that any of them have held up under long bike rides or hikes without smelling awful. Merino wool will certainly stink if you wear it day after day on an extended trip, but not to the same degree and not very noticeably either. That was primarily why I purchased these shirts and I'm very pleased I did so.First off, I recommend ordering a size up if you'd like a slightly more relaxed fit (6'2" 165lbs and ordered a Large). They'll still be somewhat form fitting but not to the same extent as ordering your normal size. Having a more tightly fitted shirt probably helps somewhat with moisture wicking, but as I said I opted for a more casual/relaxed look. With that being said I've stayed very dry on extended bike rides in hot weather (60+miles, 77 degrees). I have yet to use these on tour, but for now it has passed the test. These shirts are also as comfortable as any soft cotton t-shirt I've ever worn but much more travel worthy. Being able to hand wash and hang dry a garment in a timely manner is very important to me when traveling, and so far I've noticed this shirt will completely dry after washing within two hours (probably faster in hotter weather). That's about as good as any synthetic shirt I've owned. However I find that it can be difficult to totally rid a synthetic shirt of its awful smell when hand washing it on the road. Whereas these shirt tend to only need to be put in the breeze (let alone a full wash) and the B.O. smell is practically gone.So fart I've ridden in temperatures up to the upper 70's and am anxious to try them in hotter weather. Initially I was concerned that they might be too warm, but they really don't feel any different than my favorite cotton shirts so I'm anticipating being able to wear them in the heat of the summer. Bottom line is I'm glad I purchased these and will/have recommend them to friends. They're also quite a bit cheaper than competing brands such as IceBreaker and Smartwool.

Nice and long.
Usually I wear a 2XLT or XLT and the 3XL fits perfectly. I use it as a workout shirt and it’s perfect.

My go to fall/winter/spring base layer
Fits a bit tight for (XL) but snug is how you want your base layers. Most comfortable t-shirt I own and have worn it for 3 days straight and it did not hold the stink (though the rest of me did). If you've a belly, like me, it may stick out some. You've choices of action there and it 'aint the shirt's fault lol.Dries quick, easy to wash, some insulation. Mine is 2 years old now and still going strong. Best base layer I have ever had.

Good Shirt, but not as expected
I like this shirt. It fits like most of my 50/50 blend t-shirts, with a similar soft feel when worn. The only other merino t-shirt I own is a Icebreaker tech shirt. The Minus33 shirt has sleeves that are about an inch longer than a normal, where as the icebreaker tech shirts are about an inch shorter than normal. I have long arms, so I don't have an issue with the sleeves. The Minus33 shirt is cut like most t-shirts, and reacts to body movement accordingly. The icebreaker shirt is cut weird so that if you lift your arms above shoulder height the shirt as a whole lifts several inches, exposing your mid-section. The Minus33 shirt is softer against the skin. The texture, coloring, and fit of the Icebreaker shirt gives it an upscale look that I wouldn't mindf wearing by itself at a bar or restaurant in a pinch. This Minus33 shirt looks like a plain, solid color shirt, with the exception of some unique looking flat stitching. I would not wear this in place of a dress shirt. The Minus33 shirt doesn't have a logo on the chest of the shirt, like the Icebreaker shirt. Ideally, I wish I could find a middle ground between these two shirts. The primary reason I removed a star on this shirt is that I bought the desert sand color to wear as a military undershirt, however, the color is darker than both the picture on Amazon and the picture on the packaging it came in. I literally held the shirt up next to both to compare. It is more of a gold than a desert sand color. Calling it wet sand would be more fitting. It would work for multi-cams, but not any of my stateside uniforms. I'm glad I only bought one. I decided to keep it, so I have a comfortable merino t-shirt around. If it holds up well on hikes, I might buy more in some of the other colors.Side note: After inspecting the photos on Amazon, the pictures show the unique flat stitching around the waist of the shirt and the end of the sleeves. However, on the shirt I received the stitching in those locations is the double line stitching found on almost all other t-shirts, with the unique stitching everywhere else. Maybe Minus33 is cutting costs, or there is no quality check of the shirts when arrive from China. Maybe that is why the color is off as well.

Long fit, non itchy, great odour control.
T shirt is a long fit which is a good thing. It isn't itchy at all.It is warm even when drenched in sweat. It definitely doesn't smell with repeated use. To avoid wearing out the fit I tend to minimise washing merino until absolutely necessary... and it's managed several hikes and a couple of runs before its first wash.

Marino wear
Love the comfort and breathable material. It’s certainly pricy but well worth the quality. Ordered XL and is a bit oversized for me, am ok for the more loosely feel.

keeps you warm in all conditions, comfortable and a great day to day or travel shirt
Have just started to use merino wool after decades of avoiding wool at all costs. Find Minus 33 to be a true North American size versus other brands that are smaller. What's the big deal? Very comfortable, keeps you warm and good for all conditions. If you have previous experience with basic cotton/polyester 'performance' shirts you know that they are ok but once sweaty it's time for the wash right away. For the first time, I am more than confident to use a shirt two days and more in a row regardless of how active I've been. I've just started experimenting with various brands and have found Minus 33 to be the best to date. Would definitely recommend and as to sizing, find it a true 'North American' size.
