Dear Buster...
The author's discerning appreciation of Mr. Keaton's work shines brightly, from the very first page, and never fades. This book is a love letter, to the greatest silent film actor of them all — a fitting tribute to a deep and complex artist. Thank you Mr. Lambley, for another meticulously researched, impeccably written tome.

Don't be fooled by its plainness
This is a smallish, polain-looking book tat nevertheless packs and enormous amount of information about every phase of buster Keaton's career, from Fatty Arbuckle's sideman to Samuel Beckett's "Film", comprehensively and succinctly. All the films are covered, TV appearances, passing cameos and there's even a bibliography.Basically, I can't think of a better guide to Buster Keaton's output and it's incredibly well-priced. If you like Keaton, buy it.

Everything you wanted to know about the films of Buster but were too afraid to ask
A fantastic guide to the films of Buster Keaton that is eminently dip-in-able. The author clearly knows his stuff and has researched the subject thoroughly. The films come with synopsis, credits, production history and trivia, and there is a handy timeline as appendix. It's accessibly written and packed with interesting facts.Guaranteed to make you seek out Keaton's films, famous and obscure. If that wasn't enough, it's a total bargain.

Excellent film bio
This is an amazing book that covers Buster Keaton's career one film at a time. It is extremely well researched and filled with many interesting anecdotes. The author has divided it by periods in Buster's career: The Fatty Arbuckle Shorts, the Keaton shorts, the Keaton features, the MGM years, etc. I was very happy to see that the independent years at the end of Keaton's career are very well covered. I found that many books just gloss over those years. My only quibble is that the pictures included are not the best and that there are no captions for these. Otherwise, an important book to own if you are interested in Keaton.

Ultimate Movie Guide To Buster Keaton Films.
After watching a lot of Charlie Chaplin films I was very interested to get into watching the other classic silent comedy star Buster Keaton.I brought all his silent short films and feature-length ones and enjoy them a lot but ha trouble trying to locate is filmed after the silent era looked like no matter how hard I tried the internet didn't have enough info on all his major and minor roles in film after 1929. That's where this book came in handy!.Now with this book, I have all the information I need to not only locate the movies to watch but also this includes TV appearances and all his minor roles as well. Each film includes: Cast, Summary, and behind the scenes information dating back from his first silent movie role to his very last minor role. Yes, some films get more pages dedicated to them than others but you except that for the more big hitters like The General or Cameraman. If you're just starting to get into Buster and his films this is a great book to get you started and well on your way too one of the classic comedy stars of it's time The Great Stone Face.
