Trout Fishing in the Shenandoah National Park

This book is filled with advice covering all aspects fly angling in the Shenandoah Nat’l Park. Flies, Hatches, rods, reading the water; everything is covered. There are points in the book that felt like I’m being sold to but I could be totally wrong.If you plan on fishing the creeks and rivers of the SNP, this book will give you an edge. Buy it.

Previously, I did not realize what great fishing was available in Shenandoah National Park!

Excellent information although a little dated. A MUST READ book for anyone who does or wants to catch trout in Virginia.

Anything by Harry Murray is excellent and this guide is no exception!

Loved this book and will read it again. I look at the stream differently already even when I am not fishing.

While this book could benefit from a revision and re-print, it is simple to read and understand. With the diverse number fo streams in the Shenandoah, Murray does a nice job of paring them down and offering tactics.

Somewhat outdated, but alot of relevant information.
