I usually wear size 34. I’m 6’ and 193 pounds. Definitely need a 36 so I can still tuck a shirt in and breathe. Will follow up once the 36” arrive.

Great hiking pants. Nice and light, no weird rubbing spots. Also dry quickly after a sink wash in a hotel room.

These are excellent lightweight pants for hot temperatures. Bought them for a trip to Egypt. Perfect. They do run a size small, so allow for that adjustment. Would definitely purchase again.

I recently purchased my 4th pair of these, every pair is the same in length and waist size but the last pair weren't even close to being correct. I used a tape and measured them at 1.25" smaller in waist than the exact same ones I already own.I waited too long to try these on and missed the return date so I guess I'll save them and hope I lose a little in the waist size..... doubtful. ;) The worst part is how much more this pair that were too big cost compared to the older ones I have.In summary, just try them on right away and don't assume Columbia are consistent.

These are probably the best technical outdoor pants you can get for less than 50 bucks (at least, as of time of purchase in 2019). Light, durable, comfortable, and at the price you can pick up a handful for a field season. Used for two field seasons in a temperate/boreal climate and held up great. The only failing were the main pockets, made of a mesh material that was relatively prone to tearing. I advise keeping valuable and/or pointy objects (like keys) out of those pockets.The only field/technical pants I've liked better are pairs 2-3x more expensive from brands like Helikon-Tex and Arc'teryx.

Great lightweight airy breathable hike pants. Great sun protection! Fit is like a pair of loose fit or relaxed fit jeans, generous around legs and thighs but waist and length are right on the money, I ordered my 32x30 size and they fit perfectly . Very old school kinda fit , think 1992. Not at all like contemporary skinny-jeans. If you’re looking for a tailored fit look elsewhere or just go buy a pair of slacks. Love them for hikes and general knocking around, the loose fit makes it extremely easy to move and bend. Very casual, very light nylon fabric , perfect for summer camping, hiking, skateboarding, beaching, or just general gettin dusty and dirty. Not surprised but they are getting more expensive, would pay 40-45 for these in the past , now they are 60$. Is what it is, not complaining, this is what things cost nowadays. Longing for 1992 prices but that’s just silly to expect 🙃. Awesome pants, would love an olive green pair as well.

Good as always from Columbia but zero stretch in the waist which many of their other products have
