Soho Blondes & Peeping Toms!

take a peep
superb follow up to Songs For Soho Blondes this time with more twang and male vocals. Rare 45's, Kookie Talk by Scott Peters, Gargantua by Piltdown Men and Bu Bam by Dave Barbour are great soho style sleazy tracks which contrast with softer slinky ones like Lyn Cornell's Like Love. I've listened to it endlessly

Fabulously cool and clever mix
Velvety reminders of smoky Soho cellars littered with espresso cups, beatniks and bongos! Smooth and laid back, a sophisticated and sexy collection (Popster Ricky Valance dreamily crooning 'Lipstick On Your Lips' stands out), with a hint of sleaze... Fabulously cool and clever mix that hasn't been off the CD player (sorry, Dansette!) since it arrived.....

Great collection of rarities, oddities and groovy sounds, a must have and an excellent follow up to the previous 'Soho Blondes' CD, definitely recommended!
