Go with the large if you're used to medium
I have a 32.5" waist and bought the large. They're about the size I would expect from a US size M. Very comfortable fit without being too loose or tight. Be aware they do not have a fly if you're a "threader" as opposed to being a "leaper".Heads up: the product page currently lists two radically different size definitions for S-XXL. The one in the photos is accurate; the one in the description is not. Hopefully this is amended by the poster. I usually teeter between S and M (US) depending on the brand. With these I'm glad I went with the L.

These and only these, since I discovered this brand and boxer brief
Like my 'headline' above - I like support; we all to keep things supported when we're zooming through our days. I also like cotton, and way prefer cotton or cotton w/ a small poly blend, socks /undies. These are 95% cotton and it's smooth w/ a tiny bit of stretch. That's where these really hit the mark; that tiny stretch amounts to the support comfort in real world terms, and the makers hit the sweet spot; definitely not too tight or firm, and everything is the furthest from the dreaded twig and dangling-berries feeling when you wear these. I'm pushing 60 y/o w/ a skinny frame and hips but imagine these are actually as good for all body types. I've had an extremely active 60 years, working and traveling widely more by car and foot and train than any luxury lifestyle, and like all guys, I know whether the boys are happy or uncomfortable as I suit up after my shower. I can give good insight into their durability also, because I threw out all my other undies and simply bought lots of multiple packs of these. So I can tell you their life span from a life of being dried in a hot electric dryer. They don't fall apart - small holes will become bigger due to the stretch-factor. They're still wearable if it doesn't bother you. That is after approx two years of a weekly wash and dry cycles, so let's say 100 hot gas-dryer cycles before the holes appear. I've tossed the worst ones, and bought a few more multipack, which happily, have a promo going right now, so I'm stocking up on a few more packs. IMHO, as an oldish geezer with vast 1 on 2 experience w/ underwear (1 clothing item; 2 jacobs), 100 heavy uses for around $10 for this comfort, is a pull-your-pants-down-good bargain! Boys Keep Swinging! GW

The perfect underwear
I'm very pleased with this purchase. Yes, you need to follow the sizing chart and probably order a size up if you're used to US "vanity" sizing. Otherwise, these are basically the perfect underwear. I won't ask how they got to produce organic cotton underwear and sell them at such an amazing price. If I'm smart, I'll buy 100 pairs and live out the rest of my life in style and comfort. The only question that remains is how durable they are. We shall see. Thank you, Danish lords.

Organic cotton at reasonable price.
Nice fitting and comfortable. Organic cotton at a reasonable price. Didn’t look at pictures very close and didn’t realize they don’t have a flap in the front. Still think they are nice just used to having one.

Perfect if you're built like a mannequin.
Reading the other reviews it seems like these are great "girlfriend underwear," and I can see why that would be the case. There's virtually no room for a package up front and whatever you've got isn't going to get any support. Also, you must have a completely flat butt to fit in these underwear. They do not fit at all on someone with curves.Update: they lasted three or four washes each, after that they just shredded when I pulled them on.

Nicely made but a bit small for me
I must admit that my middle-age spread has tipped me over the edge of moderately obese. I ordered XL as that is the size of boxer shorts that fit me perfectly but I have a little struggle to put these on. The stretch well but they fit me too tightly around the thigh. I had chunky thighs due to weight-training all through my youth and adult life and they haven't really shrunk much since I became more sedentary. I have to yank these briefs up and then work the leg parts up till they are in the place they should be. Although they are tight they stretch so well that they can be considered comfortable. I feel that these are underwear to workout in rather than underwear to wear all day. There is no fly opening and they fit me a little too snugly around my genitals. I should have ordered XXL if they even come in that size. I will keep them in case I ever shed a bit of my excess weight.

Incredibly comfortable
I’m never going back to M&S.Like many unoriginal men, I bought my skiddies from M&S for years. They were good quality for a reasonable price; but the last few batches have lasted a matter of months before falling apart or of terrible sweaty material.Having bought socks from this company 4 years ago and still being in very good condition I thought I’d splash the cash and give these a try.On opening the packet (pun unintended) I have them a good feel and I liked it. Material was soft but clearly of good quality.Trying on I was surprised they seemed quite small; but after the squat test I realised they fit perfectly. They are more snug, but at no point right or uncomfortable. They hold the boys nicely, don’t stretch around the rear, and the waist band stays where intended. I think decent drawers are supposed to be like this and the initial concerns were inexperience with decent pants. If they last half as long as the socks I’d say they were more than worth the money. If they last as long I found a bargain. So impressed I went and bought 3 more multi packs. For someone as tight as I am, they must be good.

not so enduring
purchased in Feb this year and I know 2020 has been rough so far but I didnt expect my boxers to give up on me after 6 months! Seriously they are comfortable and fit fine, I work about 30 mins per day and ive worn one pair out already and I dont ware the same pair every day... that would be wrong. I dont think ill be getting any more.

Previous products great, not this one.
I have mixed feelings about Danish Endurance. The first few times I bought their underwear they were the best boxers I have ever worn. So with that in mind, from all other underwear brands out there, I thought I would order more hoping for the same comfort. Unfortunately these just didn't meet those expectations. They are nice underwear, but the wasit band has been made a lot more firm and unforgiving compared to my previous sets from this company. The material didn't feel as premium and overall was not as comfrtable. Perhaps there are different batches, so will probably order one more time in the future just to be sure, as I do genuinely love my previous sets. But this is something to be mindful of, if you have previously bought Danish Endurance and loved it, you may not get the same experience with their new products. Hence the one star, wish they kept it the same as when I initially found them.

Excellent for cotton underwear!
As always, Danish Endurance produce a quality product. These are rather a compromise between everyday boxes shorts and sports trunks. They are comfortable to wear all day and also do a good job for sports like running. However they are not as good for running as their polyester Sports trunks - those are exactly the same design, but more quick drying, breathable and comfortable for sports. Fit is excellent in both versions. After a 5km run these cotton trunks have damp sweat patches which are slow to dry. Still 5 stars, but and ideal if you object to plastics, but the polyester version is better for sports. Packaging is all plastics free.
