I found the original Garmin rubber strap kept leaving me with a rash on my skin.Went for metal straps since, with zero issues. This one is a neat looking strap in lack, to match the watch. The 'tail' feeds behind the strap, so is out of sight. Infinitely adjustable, as it is a clasp, so you lock it where you want it.Easy to fit, comfortable to wear.Yet to see how it fares with wear, and if the black stays black, so held back 1 star for that reason. Will review again in a few weeks. Recommended.

It's weighty in comparison to the silicone ones, the clasp is a bit tricky, the strap that goes through the clasp, you know the excess bit for those with a slimmer wrist profile - goes on the inside. The clasp has be pressed down quite firmly to lock in place, you can gently push down but this is probably why it falls off.Once locked in, doesn't come off and good as gold (or green if Percy is doing alchemy again)Will keep using it, especially whilst on site etc.

I bought this strap because the plastic strap on my Garmin was irritable to my skin and caused rashes on wrist,no signs of that with this metalic one am pleased to say in fact i can wear this strap all the time in comfort.Ive given 5 stars for ease of removal ...But its a little fiddley to put on fasten on your wrist, but once on and clipped shut it stays in place and i only take off to charge up the watch.I am very pleased with it.

This is the most difficult watch strap to fasten/release, also the adjutant on the strap I awful

Only had a few days so can't comment on how well the strap lasts. Very happy with it so far though. Came next day, very easy to fit, feels comfortable and looks to be goodquality. This at a small fraction of the price of a similar band on Garmin's website.

The strap isn’t bad if you don’t use it for any form of sport. Bit of a faff to get on, but comfy when on and well enough finished for the price. Useless for golf as it will continually loosen with each swing. Buy for looks not for function (sports watches).
