Great bow great company. Highly recommend this bow.
Before buying this bow I looked at so many different bows that cost less money and they included other thing that came with the bow, but I felt that I rather my money go into the bow and not on other items that came with the bow so I did not mind paying $177 for just the bow and string. The bow arrived as promised by Amazon and in great condition. The bow looks real nice and looks well made. I live in upstate NY so I had to get a bow with 35 lb pull or greater to legally hunt deer with it so I got a 40 lb pull. This bow looks and feels so awesome that I am very happy with it. The company that makes the bow is the best as far as I am concerned, I called them on the phone and right away a representative picked up and I asked if I can have another string for the bow I just purchased, I told them string didn't break, the string is ok I just want an extra one, without hesitation they said yes, they did not even ask me to write a review I decided to write one on my own because I am so satisfied with this bow. Thank you Tim and Micah from customer relations at SAS. Anthony P.

3 star for now
3 star for now as I just got it 5 minutes ago. Nice looking bow. I can't imagine how hard it is to string a 60#.Heads up: the ad says that the hair/felt arrow rest only is included with the bow. That is incorrect. Mine came with the string (guess I didn't have to order one), but did not come with the arrow rest (which I will now have to order - and Ill probably have to pay outrageous shipping on it).My advice would be to play it safe and order all the rest of the gear you could need. If you don't, you'll end up waiting for more items to arrive before you can use your bow.

Really Nice Bow (choose the right draw weight)
Got this after a lot of research, and it's great. Beautifully made, and going strong after several hundred arrows.Choose your draw weight carefully. I went too tough guy with a 45lb (thankfully didn't go 50). I'm 5'10 170 and relatively strong... still, it's a hard pull and I can't quite hold the bow steady without shaking a little. Wish I went with 40 or even 35lb for general target shooting. My fault, not the manufacturer. Fit and finish is excellent. Great bow.

Pack your product like you give a #%@×.
The bow came wrapped in foam. No instructions. No manual. The bow sring came in an unzipped, zip lock bag. It looked like someone used the bow at the US Post Office for the week it was missing, got bored with it, and threw it back in the box and sent it to me.Pitiful.

This bow shoots just as good as any of them and blazing fast
I have every Bear bow made .. This bow shoots just as good as any of them and blazing fast ,, and for the cost you don't have to scratching it up dragging it through briar patch while hunting

Great gift for a man!
Without getting myself acquainted with archery I decided that 62" - 55# recurve bow would make a great gift for my brother who did not have any archery experience. Now I know that you should start with lighter poundages and then increase with gaining more experience and strength. But he was happy with 55 pounds to start with and he told me he would increase to 60#, 70# etc... =)

Great Bow For A Great Price.
I was hesitant purchasing a bow, especially a one piece recurve from Amazon, and for the price, but it has been a great experience so far. The bow seems very durable, as I've taken it through various terrain, the string stays on, it's accurate, and seems like it will hold up for years to come. The only negative I would say it has is the nylon string. It's loud as far as many strings go (if that doesn't bother you then no problem), it's like most nylon strings, pretty stiff when first using it, and requires a break in period, and it will bruise your arm pretty quickly if it whacks you (always recommend you use a forearm guard of any kind when doing any kind of archery). You can always swap the string if you don't like it as I plan to this spring.

55 lbs draw PACKS A PUNCH
I got the 55 pound draw, which was difficult at first. After receiving shooting advice and a bit of practice, I'm shooting this bow with dead accuracy from 30 ft away and it packs a HUGE PUNCHAbsolutely the most fun I've ever had shooting anything.Besides that It's a beautifully crafted bow.

Nice Bow
Ordered the bow expecting 50 pound tension as described, but I got 29 lbs.... overall the bow is very nice and has a good grip, very light. thinking of return and getting more pounds on it.
