The media could not be loaded.  I was slightly concerned after reading some of the reviews that this might not be as good as I was hoping.Firstly I'm not sure what kind of giant potatoes they use. A potato the size of the palm of your hand will easily slice whole with not cuts needed prior.I usually get the big sacks and so it's better to keep the big potatoes for baking or for mash (less to peel) then use up all the little ones for fries.The handle is sturdy, the blades are sharp. One forceful push and you go from potato to fries. Fantastic if your doing fris for a family can save loads of time.My son is so wowed by this that his new job is being the person to make the chips 😂🍟Let's pray the novelty never wears off, I'm enjoying the help.

Only used it for making French fries so far, but great evenly cut for even cooking, and the fries actually look nice on the plate.

Great product. Works well with small potatoes and cuts into great fries. Easy to clean and not broken yet!

I was a bit unsure about this product on arrival as it seemed to be smaller than I anticipated.The size of the chip it produces is very small.It takes a lot of effort to use.The handle is short, so that does not help the leverage.The chips come out curved, like a banana.On the second use, about the seventh potato in total, the body split.

Worth the money

This is a very well made chipper.Downside older people could struggle to push down on handle as it is a little high.Chips come out ok but only takes smaller potatoes, you will have to cut down anything over 4 inches.

Good but better for smaller potatoes

I love these. Great for cutting potatoes into chips/fries, or courgettes/zucchini into batons. But best of all, once cut into baton shape, if you take a knife and cut across, you can make easy quick small cubes for Parmentier small roasted potatoes or vegetables for roasting or a for a salad.Sometimes large potatoes or vegetables need to be cut into halves to fit in if necessary, but not always!

hatte den Pommesschneider schon mehrmals in Gebrauch. Bin total begeistert von dem einfachen Handling, das reinigen ist auch schnell passiert. Es muss keine Kraft aufgewendet werden, das Messer ist sehr scharf und er schneidet perfekte Pommes. Habe den Kauf lange hinausgezögert da ich aus meiner Kindheit so ein olles Ding kannte, da musste man die Kartoffeln mit viel Kraftaufwand durch so ein komisches Gestell pressen. Bei diesem muss man sich wirklich keinen Kraftakt leisten, funktioniert absolut leicht. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen. Zuvor habe ich die Kartoffeln per Hand geschnitten, das Resultat war viel Zeitaufwand und starke Unregelmäßigkeiten. Bin echt froh das ich mich zum Kauf überwinden konnte.

A veces hay que apretar mucho para cortar la patata, en función del tamaño de la misma. A mí me cuesta. SI es un poco grande, aunque quepa hay que tener la precaución de cortarla por la mitad. Uso muy fácil. Recomendable.
