The threads on the two pieces were hard to start to get them to connect. Thought I was going to have to return it but after some trying I got the threads to grab and was able to put it together. Very very sturdy. Very heavy thick metal. Works great. Does exactly what we were hoping for and the full 24 inch rack fits perfectly over the fire ring we have. Love the fact that we can add wood while the food is on the rack. We had a regular grate that sat on the fire ring and it was ok but a little bit of a pain to have to slide it over to add wood. This keeps going in and out of stock. The price definitely fluctuates. When I was going to originally buy it was around $27. I missed it and it was out of stock, when it came back in stock and I ordered it I paid $34. The next round it went up to $54 and is now out of stock again. Compared to what’s out there and the prices reaching over $100 for similar items, this is the deal of the day based on price and quality. Definitely recommend.

I was dismayed at how beat up and torn the package was. Almost a foot long tear in the box, I expected the worst. It was all there and when assembled...wow. Bigger and heavier than I expected, and very happy with it!
