This is a hard model to find even in the local model/hobby shops. Was a great build and it came out pretty well after painting it. I put it into a mini diorama with the USS Laffey depicting the naval battle off Savo Island, Nov 1942.

An oldie but a goodie.
This model dates to the 1970s, so it's not quite up to the latest standards. But it accurately portrays the Kirishima at the time of her final battle in November 1942. Note that it is a waterline kit, rather than a full-hull model.
