Beatriz Colomina writes in an informed and creative voice. Really refreshing.

colomina is brilliant, but...
...she doesn't extend her salient, groundbreaking arguments into the realm of little a architecture. this book represents an attempt to look slightly more beyond the ultra capital A Architecture of Corbu and Adolf Loos by focussing on postwar architects far more at least explicitly attuned to late modern consumer captialism, but come on, write about something new in order to make your increasingly prescient observations about the role of architecture in contemporary society. the implications for this work, despite its american focus, are global, and this is something else colomina could have dually noted without extensively exploring.

Book is really amazingly formatted. Arrived before I expected and brand new.

Cool format hard to actually read
I rarely sit and read a book. This book absolutely requires a horizontal position to be able to turn the pages, so I can't read it before bed.
