Life Safe: Road Smart Super Brite Fluorescent Reflective Tape, 1" x 24", Lime

This is a highly reflective tape. It is also very bright in daylight. I found it to be a great safety addition to my jogging stroller and bike trailer. I have never seen a more reflective tape and would recommend it to anyone looking to become more visible.As others mentioned, this is NOT great on small tubular applications because the tape is rigid and the edges are prone to peel up. However, I did apply it to 1 1/8 inch diameter tubes on the stroller and with the exception of one corner where my son's foot rests, it has remained in place. A small dab of super glue secured that trouble corner. All the other pieces have stayed on just fine without glue. It has also seemed to hold up well under various weather conditions.Update 10/30/12: The tape was initially applied to the tubular frame of my jogging stroller during the summer. All the pieces are still in place and, with the one exception, I have not needed to use glue or in any way reapply the tape. The stroller is used daily, rain or shine, and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the tape.A word of advice when applying circumferentially to smaller diameter tubes: cut the strips short so they do not wrap completely around the tube. This reduces the tension on the ends and seems to prevent issues with the tape peeling off.

The yellow or "fluorescent" is the most reflective of the other colors available. The red and white do not have the little honeycomb cells inside. This yellow is made up of a honeycomb pattern that makes it super reflective at multiple angles (day and night time). The red and silver seem like they will only be reflective when the light shines directly at them, at a straight angle. I can see the yellow reflect back at multi angles even in daylight. I used this to replace the missing yellow reflector on motorcycle. I would say this is probably 50% more visible than the old yellow reflectors.

THIS TAPE IS GREAT. I AM HANDICAPPED THESE DAYS AND DRIVE ONLY A SCOOTER. MY EYESIGHT ISN'T ALL THAT GREAT EITHER. MY SCOOTER HAS AN OFF-BOARD CHARGER WITH TE CHARGING PLUG ON THE SCOOTER LOCATEDUNDER THE SEAT WHER IT'S VERY HARD TO SEE EVEN WITH THE GARAGE DOOR OPEN. I USED THIS TAPE TO RUN A SINGLE PIECE DOWN THE CHARGING PLUG DIRECTLY ONTO THE BODY OF THE SCOOTER WHERE THE PINS OF THE PLUG LINE UP WITH THE SCOOTEWR PLUG RECEPTICLE AND HEN JUST CUT THE TAPE AT THE EDGE BETWEEN THE SCOOTER RECEPTICLE AND THE MALE PLUG AFTER IT WAS PLUGGED IN. NOW WHEN I WANT TO CHARGE MY SCOOTER I JUST LINE UP THE TAPE ON THE PLUG WITH THE TAPE ON THE SCOOTER HOUSING TO ALIGN THE PLUG CORRECTLY. THIS TAPPE MAKES IT EASY TO SEE IN ALMOST ANY LIGHT.

I bought this to supplement clearance lights on the sides of my motorcycle trailer (would use it across the back, too, but local regulations forbid that - tape in the rear is required to be red), found the reflection so bright that the clearance lights now look like an afterthought - I'll retain them because they're required by law, though. The tape sticks well to a smooth, clean surface; I wouldn't recommend it for applications that include small, tubular members or corners, though; it's much stiffer than most "engineering" reflective tapes. If you want to be seen, though, I've not found anything nearly as noticeable as the reflective lime tape, and this is the best lime-colored tape that I've found to date.

The reflective tape on our dog collar was a rubber type product that was peeling off. After I got it off, I used this to put on the dog collar and suprisingly it has stuck great so far. It has been about 2 weeks and all is good. Would not stick over the ends of the collar where it goes around to the back as could not get all of the previous rubber tape off, but super glue fixed that and now looks like it came on it. Looks like he has a light around his neck at night @ 300 feet[back yard]! This is the best product I have seen for this. Going to order some more for other uses!

The adhesive is good. If the surface is clean, or also adhesive, then it will stick really well.The stamp pattern inside is triangular, which is like the FRA style red/white tape.This was exactly what I wanted to add visibility to the sides of my bike (front must be white, back must be red, so side is best to be a different color).Other colors work well, but the bright yellow reflects more than most other colors. (The colors are really just filters absorbing some of the light).With the popularity of bluish headlights, a light-blue version of this tape would also be okay.

I bought this tape to put on my bike, and so far it's great. Other reviewers complained that it doesn't wrap well around a bike because it's so stiff - and this is true. The tape is very very stiff, so I didn't even try to wrap it around my bike. Instead I put red duck tape over the front basket on my bike. I then put the yellow tape over it (so it made a very bright stripe). I also put a few strips on my son's bike seat (which is attached to the rear of my bike). The tape feels like it will last a long time (but let's face it, only time will tell).I'll feel a lot safer riding around now with this tape on.

Item arrived quickly. Very bright, is a lighter "lemon" color, shade is true to picture, but is patterned, much more attractive appearance than it seemed from picture on web. Note that this is only 24" long - not a lot of tape, but the length is clearly stated. I was looking for a smaller quantity; not sure if it would be cost effective for applications requiring many yards of tape. I used it to put on very small personal items such as bluetooth items that are small and seem to get easily lost, and it would definitely be fun on kids bikes or other items. I plan to order more for use on deck steps where outdoor lighting is limited. I do recommend this product.
