ConverseMen's Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70s Sneakers

These shoes are made like Chuck’s were made in the 60’s and 70’s, with a cushioned insole, better canvas and outsoles than the “modern” version, and the old-style black “Chuck Taylor” label on the back. Why did Converse STOP making them like this? To me, these are the REAL Chuck’s, not the more cheaply-made “modern” ones. The Chuck 70’s are like my first pair of Chuck’s from 1971, but beware—the Converse website says they run half a size big, and they do, so when you order yours, get a half size below the one you normally wear.

Excellent construction, much more study and comfortable than regular Converse Chuck Taylors. Order true-to-size, the same size you wear in regulars Chucks (which should already be a half size down from your normal sneaker size). I have proven this out with 2 sizes on either side of my regular Converse size. 11s were way too small, 11.5 was just right (normal) and 12 was too big. In reality, these already run large versus any other sneaker, so for example: an 11.5 is really a 12/12.5 in a different brand of sneaker.

I'm guessing it is due to the design being different back in the 70's, the size I always wear in converse was a little loose with this pair. I would suggest getting a half size smaller than what you usually get, especially if your like me and you loosen and keep them tide, being able to just slip them on, this is the first pair of Converse I've ever had an issue with this.

These are great. I normally don't go for such low cut shoes but these look really cool and they're comfortable. I went out the other day and did a bit more walking that I planned on, and my feet and back were not worse for wear. Well made.

I've been wearing Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers since I was about 12 yrs old, in the '70s. I recently heard about Converse 70 sneakers. I watched a couple YT reviews & decided to give them a shot. I bought a pair of white ones, just two weeks after buying a pair of black regular Chuck Taylors.Well... I'm hooked. They fit better. Feel better. And they have a retro look that I find appealing. Also, no fuzzy sole.They're only about $25 more than the regular ones. I'll be buying these from now on.

I’m normally a size 5 in trainers, but since Chuck 70’s come up slightly big, I ordered the 4.5 - and they fit well. The trainers are very comfy. I first wore them for a city break in Europe. I hadn’t broken them in but walked miles and miles each day. They were so comfortable. They look great too. Wore them with jeans, trousers and a dress. A great buy.

Shoes arrived in a timely fashion and looked great. I would however advise ordering a size smaller than your regular fit. I wear a size 10-11 depending on brand. The size 10 of this shoe is bigger than any 11 I have worn, and way too big for me. Nothing wrong with the quality, just the sizing seems to be bigger than normal.

Beinäherer Betrachtung fällt einen die zusätzliche Naht an derSeite auf. Das besondere aber ist der Glanz der Gummiteile.Leider habe ich einen Converse Sammler Wahn. Jetzt müssendiese auch noch in Weiß her. Mein Armes Konto!
