Vroom, Zoom! Here Comes The Fire Truck: A Book with Sounds (Wee Gallery Sound Books)

Simple but that’s what we like for our attention span. My 20 month son had no problem figuring out the sound buttons and loves to read his book with and without me.

My 2 year old loves this book. The button for the sounds are easy enough for him to press by himself.There is an on/off switch in the back to disable sounds too.

Meh... this book was a little disappointing especially for the price. The buttons for sound on each page look more like sensors... like maybe it should make sound automatically when it senses light. But no they are buttons and you have to push them it just doesn’t seem that obvious. Also they were different volumes. One page you will hear just fine and the next would be extremely low volume. And there is no adjusting of the volumes so you’re just stuck with that.Lastly, although it is contrast I didn’t seem as high contrast as other books that I found and my infant wasn’t as intrigued with this book as he was others.I should have returned it and I meant to but as you probably know with an infant, time comes and goes in a blur haha.I think the ultimate deciding factor with a review on any kind of purchase is “would you buy it again?” In this case I would not buy it again.

I never buy sound books, and I know why now... but my son sure does love it!

I bought this for my grandson. He loves the book.

My two year old grandson just loves this book. It has the cutest pictures and realistic sounds.

This is a lovely book for the youngest children.  Illustrated in black, white, red, yellow and a bit of pink, it is very appealing to look at.  The anthropomorphized vehicles are adorable.  The text is simple and the physical book will have buttons to press for sound.  An ideal book for little ones.Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this book in exchange for an honest review.

Never had a sound book before. The main thing here is look at the pictures (high contrast black and white good for babies, though our toddler loves it too) and listen to the sounds. We finally killed the batteries. Now we need to go find three little watch batteries to make it run again. Took off a star because three watch batteries seems a bit much and its a pain to replace. Overall a great product though.

I really liked this little sound book. Nice to have a toddler's noise-book that doesn't involve farm animals. I like that it's gender neutral, too.

In ein paar Wochen nach der Zustellung hat das Buch aufgehört Musik zu spielen! Nach dem Drücken auf die Bilder ist einfach nichts passiert! Es scheint, dass die Kabel fehlerhaft sind. Batterie haben wir gewechselt. Schade!!!

Unser Sohn (4 Monate alt) liebt das Buch. Schade, dass das Buch nicht mehrere Seiten hat :)
