Delicious. What to say? When you crave some extra bamboo shoots to ramen, this does the job. Better than most add ons at ramen joints

Extremely happy with the product. The package wasn't very large and it's an expensive product, but the flavor is perfect and they were honestly my favorite ingredient in the ramen I made. This is definitely an authentic product and something I will be buying again.

Very small container for the price. I guess I couldn’t really visualize the size in my head when I ordered it. A little does go a long way in ramen though. Good for when you’re in a pinch and can’t find menma at any local stores. It’s not in chili oil like the kind I normally buy from the Asian Mart, but tastes good. I honestly don’t know which type makes a more authentic ramen, but I like my bamboo to have a kick to it. Ingredients are all in Japanese (I had to look them up) so it’s more authentic (and much better tasting) than getting the canned garbage from the grocery store. Probably will go back to the chili oil kind though, and won’t make the mistake of running out of menma again.

These weird little bamboo pickles are great in ramen. I ran across menma in a little ramen joint in Sydney, AU. When I got back home to the USA I went right to Amazon and sure enough there they were. (Amazon has allowed me find a lot of unusual Asian food items for that matter.)These had a mild taste with nice texture. Put a few of these in your homemade ramen along with a little roast pork and a soft boiled egg and enjoy.
