Great books to read with your daughter
Great books to read with your daughter, been a great conversation starter for what could be awkward talks. Dannah really has a way of speaking to young girls!

Bought this book for my granddaughter who is avid reader at eight years of age.
My granddaughter will get his book on her birthday and I will read it to preview. I am confident it will be a great Christian tween book for her.

Bullies and prideful theme
This is not biblical at all. Super disappointing. The main character shrugs off every other talent as inadequate. Conflict with parents occurs but the resolution ends up avoided in the book. Then parents change mind about the reasoning of her changing body at 12 to no longer play. The main character and brothers bully other kids, use of words -stupid, dumb, and name calling.Little empathy from main character. I will not give this book to my daughter to read. Was hopeful for main character to learn lessons about grace, obedience, respect, and generosity … but there weren’t any.
