Awesome budget friendly gimbal . Very light weight and solid made. The size of it make this gimbal very attractive for outdoors video and photo making. I really love all these features what Hohem Pro App provides. My favorite ones are face and object tracking and also cinematic templets. The engines of the gimbal are very silent so does not affect any sound of your video. Very easy set up and powerfull battery which last for 8 hrs of video recording. I would really recommend this gimbal.

I bought this gimbal as I was going away for a week with the family, and wanted something to easily store without having to carry an additional bag or rucksack to put it into. I first bought the larger 3-axis gimbal from Hohem, which is a fantastic product in itself as well, however it was just a bit too heavy and bulky for my requirements. This one however fits perfectly in a jacket pocket, is lightweight and portable, and doesn't skimp on the features even with the reduced size!First up, the gimbal build quality. It feels solid, the buttons have a nice resistance to them, and the joystick is soft enough to easily move with your thumb, but offers enough resistance to make small movements possible to get a smooth rotation of the camera. It has a tripod attachment hole on the bottom which appears to be a universal fit (I don't own any other kit myself), and the included mini tripod makes setting up a standing shot easy.In terms of software, I am using it with a Xiaomi Mi 10t Lite (which is an almost 7" device and reasonably heavy, more on this in a minute) which runs Android 12. The Android app for this gimbal is fantastic, it has some great built-in features like a slow rotation and panorama shot, and the standard camera mode is great! Tap the button to start and stop recording, tap to take a picture whilst recording. Easy access to zoom with the slider on the side of the gimbal, and a single tap button to switch between portrait and landscape where the gimbal quickly spins the phone around.The one downside I have found is that, with larger devices (6.5" and larger), it doesn't leave much space for more than a little turning. When I put my Samsung S8 in though it's absolutely perfect. This is to be expected due to the compact size of the device, though!Definitely a 5-star gimbal from a price perspective, has all the features of far more expensive gadgets and doesn't hold back on quality in build or software and performance.

A gimbal is a wonderful thing and certainly not a simple technology. Without the software application this is not much more than a basic selfie stick or tripod. Install the app on your phone and the device comes alive. This does mean that you cannot use this as a gimbal for anything other than a smartphone with the software installed. Check compatibility before purchase!

Absolutely amazing!!! Was sceptical when ordered as I am using the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and wasn’t sure if it would fit.... I was wrong it sits in the cradle perfectly without a case and with a simple silicon cover. In the app has many short videos for setup tips and tricks. The gimbal itself is very light weight and comes with tripod, wrist strap and a small carry bag (which isn’t made big enough).All in all highly recommend for those On a budget and those who want great quality without the price tag!

Set up instructions are not brilliant, one small quick guide white text on bright orange paper which is difficult to read, and a more substantial guide that is so tiny you need a magnifying glass. You are much better off watching the very short video via the app that has to be downloaded.The gimbal feels quite robust and so far works well with my phone once I had worked out how to use it.It comes with a pouch for storage but mine is too small and the gimbal does not fit into it. This is such a shame and in my opinion, shows a lack of attention to detail from the manufacturer/supplier.

The media could not be loaded. 2 years old and no longer charges. After being plugged in until all three lights show full charge, it suddenly has no charge and turns off. Crap really.Edit: An email from Hohem suggested resetting battery with a pin. Did that too. No life at all.

Very powerfull gimbal. I looked at a lot of YouTube reviews on this product and I am not disappointed in its performance. Once linked to your phone (Samsung S20 FE) you can change settings to suit your needs.App for his I would give a 4/5. The app does update to give e you the best performance.Gimbal is light. Dont let it fool you in its small size. This can handle a mobile up to 260g of weight easily.Total rating is 4/5.

This has made recording video from my phone so much easier. No more shaking or random movements. It is so easy to set up and operate. The quality is first class. Battery life is more than adequate. Strong grip on the phone, so mo worries about dropping it. Tripod is a real bonus too. For under £100, you will not do better.
