This is the closest thing I can find to a red powdery morrocan clay, my mom used to import from Africa. It’s not quite as good as the one I used to know, but, it’s still fabulous! If you use it too often your skin will get agitated, but, this type of thing has to be used with respect- it’s earth! It has some interesting properties, including metallic. It works phenomenal. I like to use it 1x, every 8-9 days (ideally). I mix it with finely mashed avocado, honey + a little milk or water, to help liquify the spread. Leave in place until completely dry, at least 15 minutes, 25 is better. Wash away with warm water, followed by a gentle cleanser, followed by RMS beauty elixir and see visibly noticeable results, the next morning. When my complexion is annoying me, looking drab or dull, I use this mask and it works wonders.

Great clay for masks. Works great for my sensitive acne prone skin. The natural color is quite red and will stain fabric, so just be aware of that. Weighed it when it arrived and it’s a true 2lb bag.

I’m very pleased with my purchase of the Moroccan Red Clay. It’s all that I expected it to be.

Has worked well so far in cold process soaps. Gives soap brick red color.
