Warning-Stay away from this brand of rice! I just opened my first bag this weekend and noticed it was covered with tiny specks inside of the bag. I looked closer to find that they were bugs and the rice grains were hollow. One bag, no biggie... but ALL 4 bags (50 pounds and $120 in rice) were covered in these bugs. Of course all 4 bags had to be trashed. Normally I’d chalk it up to just life and my fault for not putting them in a storage container for the few months I had them... However, I had multiple other bags of organic white rice in the same storage spot, NO OTHER BRAND of rice had a single bug. Even the other brand 25 pound bag of rice that was surrounded by all 4 of these on all its sides, EVEN THAT bag was bug free. No other grain or flour in my pantry was touched either. These bugs either came from the company itself or got inside during shipping. Either way, I will never buy this rice again or any rice on Amazon -unless it comes from a Whole Foods delivery.

I like this and will probably order again, though my favorite still remains Forbidden Rice basmati, which is more expensive and wasn't available when I ordered this. Forbidden Rice supports fair trade farmers, many of them who use low-water farming methods. California rice is more likely to be contaminated with arsenic. Thanks Big Ag for polluting our water, soil and bodies!

Buyer be aware! This is not Organic Basmati Rice. This rice is plain white rice that taste awe full. I contacted food to live regarding my dissatisfaction and they have neglected to do anything to make this right. No refund nothing. This is criminal to mislead the buyer. I will never again support this company as they falsely claim what there products are. They refuse to stand behind there products even after being called out. Corruption in its finest. Buyer Beware!!!

Good flavor good texture. I found that you have to add more water than this calls for though to get the race nice and soft like I like it.

I like this rice. Jas very good taste, and texture.Others I try from store has taste like mold.This one I will.order again, and recommend too others.

This rice has a wonderful texture and flavor profile for my taste. I just ordered my second bag, and this time much larger. It's really the perfect rice from my perspective.

I felt like this basmati rice was a bit on the chewy side, but it was good with homemade curry none-the-less. I am willing to admit my rice cooker may have played a hand in the resulting texture of the rice, but it is a zojirushi which is a well respected rice cooker brand name. Perhaps I will add a bit more water to the cooker on my next basmati rice making attempt.

This is the best rice I've ever tried. It cooks fast and is so fluffy and beautiful. There's no wrong way to cook it.
