Excellent
These are very good beginning figure skates. I have spent about twenty hours in them so far, both for skating recreationally on my own and during lessons. It took probably 8 hours or so to break them in. Before that, they were pretty stiff, but you can keep fresh skates tied a bit loosely to help keep them comfortable while you work out that stiffness. I recommend also not tying them all the way up - leave the laces off the last hooks until they are broken in.After the break-in period they have been very comfortable and supportive. I would expect to be able to do just about anything that doesn't involve jumping with these. If you're starting lessons, or have already committed to lessons and need to upgrade to "real" skates, these are a great way to go.

Great for beginners
I’m an adult (28yo) ice skating beginner. And these skates are amazing. Only took 1 day to break in . Came in factory sharpened, so I didn’t have to worry about it for over a month . I’m so happy my coach recommended these . Also my feet are pretty big , so I was afraid I need to buy men’s but found size 11 in women’s here . Highly recommend!

Good skates
Overall these are good beginner figure skates for that price point. They do take some time to break in which is a pain, but this is totally normal for ice skates. The leather and blades are good. My one complaint is that I wish they were more narrow. I got a size 10 in the B width. The 9.5 B was way too small and painful even during the try on process while the 10 is just a bit looser width wise than I like. The length is perfect though. These are good skates overall, but I probably would go with a different brand next time because of this.

Terrific fit and great quality!
Jackson once again comes through with good quality skates! Purchased these for my son and they fit great. The only issue I had was that they were shipped in the Jackson box rather than inside of another box. When I received them, the box was very damaged from going through the USPS system.

Loving my skates
Just started Adult figured skating classes in the fall. I was using rentals the whole time and notice a huge difference in my skating since getting these. I love them! I feel very supported and spin so much better.

CHECK YOUR BLADE MOUNTING!!! Poor / Cheap mounting causes Ankle Problem and is Dangerous!
As a new figure skate Mom, I bought these shoes thinking they would help my daughter learn to skate. Unfortunately, I didn't understand that figure stakes have to have the blades installed correctly for them to work, and they are technically made to be adjustable. In this case, my daughter's skates were misaligned, but since we were new to skating we didn't know. They didn't even mention it...Now a year later, my daughter is having ankle problems and keeps getting told she's skating on her "outside edge" and is no longer getting better. Well, tonight I looked at her skates and figured out why... the blades aren't centered... at all.I added a photo of how the blade should look when you get them to ensure they are mounted correctly. Ours were not. If you look at the photo, you can see that they mounted them too far "in" which then caused my daughter to try to balance on the "outer edge" since this was closer to her center of gravity. This hurt her ankle, and made staking very difficult.Very disappointed. These skates basically cost her WAY more than even the most expensive skates possible since she basically lost a year of skating experience and... even worse... they are actually dangerous as they can cause injuries.CHECK YOUR MOUNTING... or better yet, get skates somewhere else.
