Great gloves for mountain scrambling. Would work for anything needing strong gloves.
I wanted a new pair of gloves for when I need to scramble up the nasty stuff out hiking and backpacking in the Olympic and Cascade mountains. I've found that leather works fine as long as it stays dry, but gets too sloppy when wet. These are supposed to be fully synthetic gloves, so they should do a bit better when wet. The gloves have a really nice bit of padding on the palms to help protect the hands from sharp rock holds and slips/falls. Some people might not like the thick stitching on the finger tips, but when it comes to clawing your way up a bone-dry 40+ degree scree slope, the added bit of hard stitching on the fingers makes it much easier to shovel your hands as hard as you can without losing finger tips. The little loops on the gloves for hanging them on a rack or from a carabiner are a little silly and are best cut off.

Perfect for climbing!
I purchased these gloves for a 14er in Colorado (Longs peak). Not only did they keep my hands warm but they helped tremendously in gripping rocks when it sleeted and everything was slippery. These were impressive! I had plenty of bruises and scrapes after the hike.... except my hands!!

Not Horrible, But Not Great
The media could not be loaded. I bought these to pad my hands while driving my van and my work truck. They don't do too great a job, but I only got them today, so I'm hoping maybe they'll break in or something. If not, they'll go back and I'll try some other ones. There isn't much padding in them, and what is there is kind of hard. -1 star for comfort.Surprisingly enough, the size chart seems to be accurate. Since I usually wear smalls, it was weird ordering larges, but they actually fit.One thing that's super annoying is the little eyelet they claim is for climbers to hang the gloves from a d-ring. If you wear long sleeves, it probably wouldn't be much of an issue, but every time you bend your wrist inward, that plastic/hard rubber thing digs right in, as seen in the accompanied video. -1 star for that.

Worked great for waterfall repelling!
I purchased this for a canyoneering trip last weekend, which included waterfall rappelling. I wanted something to protect my hands, which this did wonderfully. The material was thick enough to make me feel protected against any rope burn and against sharp rocks, but also wasn't too stiff that I felt like I lost dexterity. I was worried about how the gloves might change once wet, but the fit remained the same even when soaked and wasn't a hassle to get on/off. The gloves held up perfectly through my four descents and I've even run them through the wash (on delicate cycle and in a mesh bag). Please not that my review is only based on my single day use, so I can't attest to how well it would hold up under extended stress. However, it was definitely worth the price to use for my trip and I imagine I can get at least two more similar uses out of it - at the very least.

NOT rock climbing gloves!
I gave two stars because quality seems to be good, but description says that they are for rock climbing which is completely false. They are too thick to be climbing gloves, completely unusable. Even the tag doesn’t say anything about climbing (see the picture). Should not put it in the description.

Excellent gloves!
Purchased these to go climbing with some friends, and they were fantastic. I had the best gloves in the group and never lost my grip or had issues with the gloves. I've also used them since for some outdoor workouts, and they save my fingers from splinters or pinches. Great gloves! The one note is that the cuff (?) is rather short. I'm still unsure if I like that or not, but that's on me, as it could be a sizing factor. I found myself accidentally pulling on the little loops to get them on, which resulted in the loops tearing off. So, those aren't super durable, but the rest of the gloves are excellent.

Reasonable price, Reasonable gloves
I bought these gloves to use for mountain hiking/scrambling. The material is durable and they help provide a better grip. The fingers have hard stitching in the tips to let you dig in to rocks/gravel a little better. They were pretty stiff when I got them and needed time to break in.Note that these gloves are not waterproof and will not work in snow or colder weather conditions.
