Mall Mania (MathStart 2)

The book shows a lot of different ways to add. I am not sure how helpful that will be to the kids... especially when the math is shown backwards on one page (read from bottom up following the arrows). Plus the math for some of the totals is not even shown... someone just tells the answer. I did like that everyone was in pairs to do the math to verify they got the same answer.SIDE NOTE: Story-wise, I also did not like the grumpy kid who disliked all of the prizes and when he finally got something he wanted, his sister took it away as a present for their mom. Just did not like the actual story here.

This is a great book to use for second grade math class. Ised it as reference for different math strategies.

This book was great teaching resources for addition. It shows different strategies and ways for adding 3 or more numbers.
