Bought 6 of these spoons years ago at my local Asian market but lost several over time. These are almost exact replacements. These aren't substandard, cheaply made like most Chinese products.

My wife is from Thailand, and I've spent the past 48 years digging those traditional Asian soup spoons out of every bowl of soup I've ever had. And that's a lot of soup! But, no more. These feel and work exactly the same as traditional spoons, but they never end up in the soup. I love 'em!

I took 1 star off because one of the spoons center design was very rough and not smooth like the rest. I discarded it because I didn't feel comfortable using it in my food. Otherwise well made, beautiful, sturdy. Holds up well in the dishwasher and perfect for our Ramen and hotpot meals.

I love these soup spoon with hooks. I use it quiet a bit since I love noodles these soup spoons are perfect and the hook at the end keeps the spoon from sinking into the bowl. These spoons are a must for eating soups.
