What a brilliant memoir!
I love the Doug Anthony All Stars and was aware they had been touring again.YouTube caught me up, I looked for anything on Amazon and found this gem. The title got me - I’m a Milligan fan - so I bought it on a whim. So glad I did - I was vaguely aware of Flacco as a name but after reading this and searching archives on YouTube I’m now a fan - and of The SandmanIt gave me a unique insight into DAAS - especially the early years and the Edinburgh years, My interest has not waned, just got stronger. I hope when the pandemic is over the guys will tour again in the UK.This is well written, interesting, funny and probably much more accurate than anything DAAS put out due to their ‘creative’ honesty in interviews etc. They were never in a Batman movie!

I love DAAS, loved Tim's book, love this one probably equally. Lovely-ly written, funny, interesting, enthralling, even though I knew the ending... Ace.
