The equipment I received had no identification (NEW XLT) on the equipment itself nor in the manual nor on the packaging/box.The equipment really worked! My first time using it, I added iced water from my freezer and did feel cool air coming from the device but I was a little concerned about the fact that the charger wasn't charging anything. To run the equipment, it had to stay plugged into the USB charger and was continuously sucking juice from my solar powered home. I don't know if this equipment caused the problem, but the night after I ran this device for four hours, I ran out of power and had to run my generator.The manual doesn't give any information about power usage. It also doesn't give the product name and manufacturer or any information about maintaining the product. So when the filter gets dirty and becomes ineffective, the user won't know who to go to for a new filter and information about removing the old one and installing the new one.This equipment really works but is obviously a disposable product. When the manufacturer upgrades the product and stamps their name on it and maybe add an element that will refrigerate the water in the reservoir so I don't have to add iced water, I will be sure to purchase the item even for a higher price.In the meantime, this device is being returned for I definitely have no use for a $50.00 paper plate.I tried to take pictures but they wouldn't let me and I had to rewrite all of this!

Portable only if near an electric plug AND you have a spare USB charger (not included). Otherwise, you need to have a laptop handy. This is more personal and is a far cry from being able to cool very much further than one FOOT from the unit...and only if you put your face or head in that one-foot stream of cooling mist. The fill port is small thus adding crushed ice for better cooling mist is difficult. The unit does not keep running and sometimes cuts out, maybe it gets overheated? The mist feature is the only part that provides some cooling. The fan cannot be felt more than a foot away from the unit. Portability is only if you have an electrical outlet near where you want to put it. I gave it a 3, but more appropriately a 2.5 star is more suited. I am ok with it as I have it blow on my head and cool me down and assists in getting me to sleep. The unit has about a 4-hour tank size so it will not provide the cooling mist for an entire night. It is more appropriately, a Personal Cooler.

Delivery of product came as expected (I bought 2 of the Portable AC unit for my son and me). The instruction manuals say that product includes remote, but none were in any of the boxes they came in. I've contacted seller and seller responded within 24hrs and apologized that they shipped the wrong manual with the product. Appreciate that the seller compensated a small refund for the error which I had accepted. The product does work well for a small little portable unit (quieter than a similar product which costed slightly more by a couple $$ that I had also bought from another seller) and cool AC air does comes out as they claim in the description and was able to cool down a small 10'×10' room when ice water was added. You can also clearly see the humidifier feature working also (other similar product didn't). 4 stars as it didn't come with remote, but overall happy with my purchase and works well. I will buy another 2 units for my twin daughters. Thanks, Xin Lian Tai!

It works more like a mist sprayer than an air conditioner. As for people saying it cools a small room is false. It only cools your face when your really close to the fan while the mist blows. Its a great fan while you're working on your computer to keep you cool. The LED lights is a great addition which makes the fan look like a Christmas box in the dark.

this particular cooler is easy to use just add cool water and a usb power source and you are good to go.Problem is which is a huge problem for me is that it runs out of water within an hour and a half and you must be within two feet to feel the cool air let alone cool a room down, are you kidding me.

You have to be very close to this unit to feel any breeze from it. Adding ice water doesn't help much. It's hard to add actual ice because the opening for adding fluid is quite small, and if you add small pieces that fit through, they melt almost immediately. It doesn't run on batteries so not very flexible.

I didn't have high expectations for this but was hoping that it would at least blow a little cold air. Even when I kept the bottom full of ice, it didn't get much cooler. It works just fine as a fan but if you are looking for an AC, this is not it.

This product is similar to others my co-workers use in my office so i'm drawing comparison to theirs.Pros:Puts out air as any fan would.Cons:Side door to pour water in is too small and only crushed ice will fit through slot if u want to add ice to ur water.If ur looking for one with LED light/colors this one has the light on bottom which is hardy visible, i could care less but wanted to make note.Barely noticeable difference in cooling with and without water/ice.Impression - This one was more expensive, and performs less than other models available.
