Poor quality. Terrible customer service. Ripped us off and would not refund!
Do NOT buy this product or deal with this company. I have worked in the fitness industry for over a decade and have never dealt with a worse product or business person than Michael at solo strength. They market a sleek, sexy minimal adjustable pull-up bar. The ads show a couple having coffee in their kitchen with this machine placed subtly in the background. What I got was an extremely large, clunky, loud when adjusting, cheaply made piece of equipment. There’s no way this would appear in your home the way it does in their photos. It stood out like a sore thumb, and I have a commercial fitness facility. The workers I had assemble it, build houses for a living and it took them hours to put together. They were quick to comment on how cheap some of the plastic materials were.Upon our initial complaints he was very difficult to deal with. He would not address us wanting to return the product, nor return my assistants phone calls who made the initial complaint. He instead kept emailing us the link to a “troubleshooting” page on his website. If you read the fine print of their website they have the right to not accept back products and only credit you a 50 percent refund if the boxes it came in were damaged. I wasn’t going to waste hours taking the machine apart and repackaging it. I left it on his doorstep. I was that frustrated by the whole experience. There were additional add ons that I also purchased with my solo strength. I returned this still unopened in its original box but was never refunded a cent. All the money I lost is worth it if people read this review and know to stay away from this company. If I could leave negative stars I would.

SoloStrength: Saftey and Versatility
The media could not be loaded. First off, I am 65 y/o, 6’5” and 186lbs. I have been using the original “SoloStrength Standard 90” (not the new outdoors model) for over 3 years. Being 6’5” I also use the SoloStrength “1' Height Extension “of which, provides the extra height/room I need to fully stretch out, to accommodate my height. Please look at the pics I have provided. The Original SoloStrength model I have been using was not advertised as an outdoor model however, for 3 years my SoloStrength model has been outdoors, only covered at the top by a canopy, still exposed from the sides to rain, wind, sun and temperature ranges of all kinds.Needless to say The structural integrity of my SoloStrength has/continues to perform flawlessly, as well as the operational components i.e. screws, bolts and all moving parts as well. The only issue I have with my SoloStrength after 3+ years being exposed to the elements, is the original foot board/platform is buckling at the edges, bubbling in the middle but is still safe to stand on.Bottom line, I literally trust my “Original SoloStrength Freestanding Gym” with my life, to protect me while training. My training routine could be quite hazardous however, SoloStrength has provided me the Confidence in their products, that my training will be safe, while using their products 😊
