Because of the nature of the story I chose to purchase the edition in Spanish. It is a beautiful work of art with a heart warming message of current meaningfulness. It is so to the point that I am considering buying a copy in English and sending it to a certain you know who.

Rosita grew up in a small village, far away. But she never had a real home and was often hungry and afraid. One day she bravely set off to find a new place to live. Will she find a happy home with Kubi and his friends?Kubi is a little white dog. He has an adventure. First, he live in a farm. His best friend is a water buffalo. One day, the farm has a carnival, and it is so loud. So Kubi want to go away from the noise, and it goes down and sleeps in a boat. Next day, he finds he is going away. They brings him to a market. Kubi ran and ran and find a dress boat. He is sad and lonely. He wants some food. He is very hungry. A lady gives him some food. In the markets, he finds a lot of ducks. He lets these ducks go free. He go back home later. It is a great book. I like Kubi the best.

I’m a native Spanish speaker, and I felt very fortunate to receive this book as I want to make sure that my 3 year old learns to read Spanish as well.I love the material of the book, I love the sturdiness of it, it is a well made book.The graphics are cute and they go well with the story.They language is easily comprehensible for the targeted age.The story is cute, but I feel like it lacks dimension. It is excellent at describing where Rosita comes from, but I don’t know where the story is really heading. The end is bland.Overall it’s a decent book, and durable, so it will be part of our collection for a long time.

I like the style of the artwork on this book. It’s a very nice story line, I got this book so I can read it to my children who like listening to Spanish words. It’s a very simple and easy storyline for my children to follow. The cover is sturdy and made with good paper. This book is ecofriendly being made stone paper. Overall, I’m very happy with this book and I highly recommend it.Me gusta el estilo de la obra de arte de este libro. Es una historia muy bonita, tengo este libro para poder leerlo a mis hijos que les gusta escuchar palabras en español. Es una historia muy simple y fácil de seguir para mis hijos. La cubierta es robusta y está hecha con buen papel. Este libro es respetuoso con el medio ambiente siendo hecho papel de piedra. En general, estoy muy contento con este libro y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

The pages of this book have a nice feel and are made without water. Apparently, the process uses 50% less energy. I'm assuming that means less than regular paper production. The book is visually beautiful and loaded with watercolor paintings that, along with the Spanish text, tell the story of how dog friends Kubi and Rosita met.It is an adventurous, happy story and perfect for toddler's and up. My Little Mister has enjoyed reading this and looking at the gorgeous watercolor paintings.Even if you don't speak Spanish, it is fun to read the story through the pictures.Recommended.

Beautiful world-class illustrations, really enchanting, however we found it a little lengthy for nighttime reading. Too long for the toddler and K crowd, yet not the epic chapter books for older kids who are riding the reading rocket. Great for classrooms or libraries, engaging story with much to talk about. And did I mention? Stunning artwork

This is nearly perfect for the beginning Spanish student to learn from. There is a variety of tenses to the verbs which is great exposure, but the vocabulary is pretty restricted to the Beginning level with a few new words spread in. The story is cute and pretty straightforward. There is a little quirkiness, like a decision to bathe and play with the manatee mother and baby once the story is resolved. We are lucky to have received a number of Spanish version books from this publisher and they make a great learning library for our family as we precede through our Spanish learning.
