The Holy Earth: The Birth of a New Land Ethic

This is a great book! Amazing that it was written in 1915. Exactly 100 years later pope Francis published his ecological encyclical'Laudato Si' / On Care for our Common Home' in 2015. Francis writes that the whole nature/creation is connected and interrelated,and therefore we should listen to the cry of the earth if we want to continuing living on this planet. The author of The Holy Earth wrotesuch things already a century ago. This book is really prophetic. I'am convinced that pope Francis read The Holy Earth and gotinspired by it in writing his groundbreaking encyclical Laudato Si'. Everyone should read The Holy Earth, because this is aholy book! Thoughtful perspective on how we should view the earth and our responsibility to it. Even after 100 years his observations are mostly still pertinent.
