Faber-CastellHexo B Fountain Pen - Rose

As steel nib pens go, this is hard to beat. The build quality is better than Lamy or Pilot, and the design, posting, and balance are perfect. Faber nibs and feeds give consistent flow, and the XF line looks great. The rose gold color is classywithout being flashy.

I already have 3 Faber Castel fountain pens, all writes smooth, but this time I received a very scratchy pen.Can not return it, I already fixed it, but it is now a broad nib, it is originally an extra fine.

Good addition to collection of pens

Found the EF nib to be smooth out of the box with no issues. Pen has good ink flow but nothing overwhelming which is just the way I like it. Those looking to start the fountain pen hobby will find this fountain pen a delight to use. Simple design, light weight and quality makes this a great writing instrument.

Purchased black ballpoint. Barrel feels like plastic, rather than anodized aluminum.

Le mécanisme tournant, pour faire sortir et rentrer la mine est fragile. S'il on le manipule trop brusquement ou en forçant, il finit par se casser (cela m'est arrivé deux fois, sur ces modèles).

No esperes que te dure toda la vida. Se acaba deteriorando, pero la recomiendo. Escribe bien, tiene buen trazo.

This is a pen made to be used, not overly fancy or good looking. Not an eye catcher and not something you use to sign those important documents with and show off, but a pen made to be used in your daily life. It stucks a balance between being cheaper materials but with a dedication to detail and quality.The pen is comfortable to hold, it is lightweight and works well posted as well as un-posted. The four is that it is hard to compete in this segment and since it feels like a tool to put down some fine lines for an illustrator/artist as well as being a tool to take notes for a student etc - a converter included in the price would have been just about the perfect balance. Now it just misses that optimal position.

Ich habe diesen Kugelschreiber nur sehr, sehr selten im Gebrauch gehabt. Zuletzt lag er auf meinem Schreibtisch. Auf einmal ist die Drehkappe wie ein Geschoss herausgeschnellt und sich vom Kugelschreiber verabschiedet. Somit ist dieser Kugelschreiber nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. In bereits vorherigen Rezensionen wurde über besagte Defekte berichtet. Ich habe mir aber gedacht, dass wenn man den Drehmechanismus sehr langsam und vorsichtig bedient, dieser auch nicht kaputt gehen kann. Irrtum!!! Aber das der Kugelschreiber auf dem Tisch liegend auseinander fällt, damit habe ich wirklich nicht gerechnet. Ganz klar: keine Kaufempfehlung!!!
