Makes Great Ham Radio 10 Minute ID Timer
Just attached an AC cord (red wire to wide plug side) and it worked fine. Changed the switch under red dome to left side (?). Works just as advertised, lights/siren goes off at set time and duration, starting on 0 and counts up to reset time. Say you have it set to alarm every 10 minutes, 0 will show (after pressing button) until one minute goes by then 1 for another minute then 2 and so on to 10. Automatic reset, until button is pressed again (i.e. end of QSO for us Hams) to end counting, light and alarm. LED light simulated to appear as rotating beacon, NEAT!Con: Alarm is pretty loud, it would be nice if it had a volume control (would be 5 stars). There may be a fix for this but have not had time to explore the possibilities.
