Very useful and comprehensive, with just one serious flaw
A really useful book which pulls no punches. In our society where death is rarely discussed, it would be very helpful for everyone to read it and to then understand options and processes involved in saying goodbye to loved ones. Depending on their sensitivity, Im not sure I would give it to a just-bereaved person though. My only disappointment is the suggestion to release balloons as a symbolic gesture. Balloons choke wildlife and farm animals and create litter. The only thing worse is a sky lantern (not mentioned in the book btw, thankfully), which can also cause serious fires as well as killing animals. Please do not do it.
