MY HEART IS IN YOU
One thing I can always say, Ms. Jane Henry never disappoints with her writing, bigger than life characters, and scenarios. What a great start to this new series, Dangerous Doms, and with it, you have the good, the bad, and the ugly. The story keeps the pages turning with a powerful, dominant man, Keenan, Captain of the McCarthy Clan, and future heir to the throne. Then there is Caitlin, a secret hidden away and just found—but is she the enemy?“Most men aren’t pure evil or pure good. Most war with good and evil.”Caitlin was raised by Jack Anderson, the keeper of the lighthouse and a man she called Father. She was always told she must stay inside, that outside is full of evil men that will do her harm. The man she believes is her father will die, and now, if she doesn’t find food, she will die too. Her first foray into the outside world will bring angry men, and one of them has taken her as a prisoner, he says he has a way of learning the truth. Not only is he stern, but he also stands up to others, and lets it be known that she is his and he will deal with her in his own way—and takes her to his room.“This woman is mine. The first woman that’s ever been taken to my private quarters. The first I’ve taken prisoner. The first I’ve shielded from my father’s wrath. She could be the one. Don’t be frightened, lass, I’ll not hurt you.” --Keenan“That’s a lie. You’re so capable of hurting me; it frightens me.” --CaitlinThe story is full of secrets, with plenty of violence, revenge, warring clans, and loyalties of the McCarthy clan to their own. It will have Keenan protecting Caitlin, but also disciplining her as he sees fit. Caitlin isn’t one to hold back, she says her peace, even knowing she will meet with his disapproval, but she also craves his dominance and knows when to submit to him. The chemistry between Keenan and Caitlin sizzles off the pages, and they just belong to each other.“Your very presence pleases me. A man like me craves the submission and trust of a woman, and you grant that to me without a second thought. And I didn’t know how badly I craved your innocence until I tasted it.”The story is an action-packed adventure that takes the reader inside the Irish Mafia and how they operate. It includes strong, feisty women, who support the men they love, accept that they must step back, and allow them to conduct business and not ask questions. It is power, control, dominance, discipline, and clan loyalty that ties this tale all together. It is uncovering a long-hidden secret of innocence and naiveté. Keenan must keep Caitlin safe, and together, they can change two warring clans—but will it come too late?“It was lonely in the lighthouse. But with your family—I feel at home. I could—I could grow to love them.”“Unencumbered with the ways of the world, she faces everything—life and death, marriage and circumstance, the violence and loyalty that forges our brotherhood—with steadfast loyalty and honesty.”The story does depict scenes of violence, kidnapping, discipline, but the sex scenes are consensual. I don’t know where this series will take us, but I think Keenan was one of Ms. Henry’s best, and I have read them all.

Love this entire series!
I keep rereading this entire series from time to time. It really is well written and has an intriguing storyline. This book introduced me to Jane Henry as an author and I’ve read her other books because of that. Great job !!!

I like it but Keenan was a tab bit too much for me.
Mmmmm I'm not exactly too sure how I want to start off this Book review for Keenan. So how about I summarize it a tad bit before I jump right in.Keenan is the heir to the Irish Mafia. He is the oldest of his 3 brothers, ( 1 of them being his cousin ) and they take this business very seriously. His father is the current boss of the Mafia and in order for Keenan to become the chief and commander, he must first get married to an woman of Irish blood.Doesn't seem all the bad, but for Keenan getting married is not something he just ready to do yet. Not when he focusing on leading his men and trying to figure out who is the person stealing from them. As well as attacking his clan woman and men. So when his uncle, who is the town priest tells them they'll find their answer in the light tower. They were not prepare for what they would find, and would come out swing on them. Now there Caitlin, Caitlin our Rapunzel, who is stuck in her tower. She doesn't really know anything about the world around her, minus from what she was home school in, as well as what she read. Caitlin is also our mysterious Jane, who doesn't exactly know who her mother is. She was warn by her father, who kept her well hidden over these years. That if she leaves that tower, that people will kill her. Talk about the boogie man coming straight to life, that's away to scare someone straight. But starving in her tower she leaves to the storage on the side looking for food, when Keenan stumbles around her.And at last there story of these two really starts to began. What I love this is Caitlin. She is the fighter in this book. From a little girl up until an adult, from the outside looking in, she had such a tough life. AND she is a fighter. She is not one to take anything being down. When reading this book my number one issue is how Keenan not only beats her with a a belt, to dealt out a punishment to her, as if she is some misbehaving child. But also the way he just tries to control everything she does. From the way she talks to him to the way she dresses. And all she can say is "as long as your please, I'm please as well. " That makes me so mad to continue to read her say things like that, that I wanted to drop reading this book. Since it bs that she's saying something like that.I like Keenan loyalty that he has for those under him and in his clan. BUT I heavy dislike his controlling ways. And how he feels like the can talk to her anyway he wants, and if she did the same he got even more upset. That blew my mind. The last thing that really blew my mind is the fact that all he had to say was sorry. And she forgave him extremely quickly. To the point that there was no push back in their relationship, and that's not okay.Overall this book is an okay book to read, and you might not enjoy it. I like the book but the issues that I kept seeing with the story kind of threw me off a lot. To the point that I didn't care for the MM, Nor the FML.

Irish love
This was an interesting read. I loved caitlyn's story. How she was raised, the outlook on life she had and her connection with keenan. For me she gave little fight to their relationship once her situation became clear to her, but even in a world she really didn't understand, she gave a fight when needed and that made her a great character. Keenan was under a lot of pressure to lead and be seen to be in charge. He needed someone to ground him and she was the one to do it. For me it wasn't a dark mafia romance, as I tend to read mostly darker ones, but enjoyable to read.

Captive Queen
This story is mostly about an orphaned girl raised by a crazy American in a tiny lighthouse. Then he dies and the Prince of a Irish Clan of mobsters captures her eventually determining she is perfect for him... There is Dominance and exciting Action throughout the story. Knife fights, snipers, fire, car chases, deaths, kidnapping and interrogations. Not to mention a trip to a BDSM club, and a few interesting spanking. It's an OK story, but the whole stolen baby growing up for over 18 years never leaving a light house... its a bit unbelievable...everything else is great though

keegan discovers something unusual
After yet another loss to the clan a meeting was held and father Finn the Dons brother had information that would help and told them they must go immediately to the lighthouse where we would the find answers, he wouldn’t say anymore. What Keegan found was totally unexpected along with some journals. Life was about to change. Loved the book, another great one from Jane Henry.

Mafia romance
Oh my couldn't put this down. Loved the way it started with Caitlin in her home and how she daren't go outside and then how she got to know Keenan and all his family. Won't say too much as don't want to give any of the story away, but will say I can't wait for the next book.
