I purchased a vintage Danish modern bookshelf that had one more shelf than it had pegs. The original peg is shown on the right side of one of these smaller pegs. The local hardware stores only had 1/4" pegs so ordering was my only option. These seem to work just fine to hold up the extra shelf.

My only caveat is to be sure you have 1/4” holes. These come in two sizes: 4mm and 1/4”. I didn’t know that and had to order a second set.

unfortunately this was the wrong pin size. needed 4mm to fit the existing holes. had to reorder

These puppies do what they promise, and that's hold all the American Girl dolls and crap my wife owns. Can't complain about the pins but I can complain shriek my head off as I'm dragged to hell. Nice product.

I began replacing the terrible plastic shelf clips that now come with new cabinets. I tried to live with the original plastic clips. They made it difficult to easily move your shelves, as you continue to customize your kitchen based on your current needs. These metal shelf supports are easy to move shelves to different heights. The pegs are sturdy and easy to move. I could not be happier with the ease of customizing my kitchen cabinets, quickly, as needed. Great value. Quality product.

These pins are a good value. Mostly uniform finish, I used these in our pantry where the shelf load would be light to moderate. In our kitchen cabinets I went with name brand ones that were more expensive, but had a listed weight rating of 25 pounds per pin.

Too small for my shelves, i ordered the wrong size.

This item arrived as expected. Good quality and reasonably priced; however, be careful in ordering. I didn't want to keep these so I returned them. 7 days was the wait time for reimbursement from the seller. It took 14 days even after calling Amazon twice about the delay.

Just what I needed

I build all my kitchen cabinets and with them came lots of shelves. To make them flexible, I made the shelves removable and, with the holes, they could be positioned at any height to store various odd shaped items. These are 1/4" pins and fit the holes perfectly. No hammering, just a little wiggling to get them in, and you are done. Very satisfied with the quality and delivery
