This is a very comfortable nightgown. Except for sometimes the open back catches me off guard when I'm getting into my cold bed. My husband said I looked like an old lady. But I disagree with him I feel like a Victorian lady! Like Windy in Disney's Peter Pan! Or Tutty in "Meet Me In St Louis!" It's definitely not green but light blue. It's cotton so I washed it on cold and hung it on a hanger and it kept its shape and size. And it was dry in just a few hours. The main reason I bought this nightgown was because I wanted something I felt pretty in and warm. And I feel like I got everything I wanted.

I purchased the US Small/Tag Size Medium and the US Medium/Tag Size Large to see which one fit, as a majority of the reviews were mixed on my sizing. I tried on the smallest one first because that was the size I was hoping to fit as I do not want the nightgown to be too loose, mainly in the chest. I like sleeping with a bit of support. The US Small/Tag Size Medium is perfect! For those in similar sizing to me, I am 5’4”, less than 140, and bra size is 32DDD/34DD. I usually wear size Small, but sometimes have to go to Medium if the chest area has no give. Because of the string adjustment on the front (mind you, I have the draw strings pulled tight in the pictures), I can get the right support I was hoping for. The dress’ material is overall cotton minus the lace, which is not really scratchy, but I am sure with a wash, it will soften. Because it is cotton, I would be careful with the risk of size shrinking. Some reviews for this item have said washing it with cold water still had it shrink. However, I think a quick cold wash and using just an ivory soap bar (no detergent) will be just fine. I have washed shrinkable material that way and have not run into size shrinking issues after a quick cold hand wash with an ivory soap bar and then hanging the item to dry. Overall, it is a cute nightgown and exactly what I was hoping for when I saw this item. I would recommend it.*3 week update since purchase and with 2 uses already:*I love, love this nighty dress! With the first wash, the material felt softer and it is super comfortable to sleep in. It provides perfect chest support but is breathable and not clinging-to-your-skin feel. I have washed it twice now and the sizing has not changed at all. Just handwash it for a few minutes or less in icy cold water with a bar of ivory soap, rinse the soap from the dress, and then after ringing out the water to your best ability, hang it to dry. I have not dried it in my dryer. I am sure if I did, even on gentle low heat, it very likely could cause the material to alter (shrink) in areas I don’t need it to. Yes, this means it is higher maintenance to care for if you do not already handwash and air dry any of your clothes, but it is worth it.

Although it was exactly as described, the “knitted fabric wasn’t the same as other nightdresses I have bought. It will do but I wasn’t thrilled with it.

Warm fabric is perfect for winter, hemline is shorter than I like.

It was a very beautiful product I like the way the lace was on the nightgown the problem was it was too small but beautiful feminine looking piece

The neckline of the gown has a bit of stretch to it so you could pull it down to your shoulders and it wouldn’t slide off. I really love this. I’m 5 foot and the small goes down to mid calf for me. I’m a very petite person so the whole thing is very flowy and beautiful

I ordered the US medium and should’ve purchased the small or XS. It’s too big in the bust. And the elastic at the bust kind of makes a weird silouhette. The fabric is Swiss batiste cotton though so it’s extremely soft and flowy. I do love that about it. It’s very pretty Overall, but i wish they would have done a satin ribbon drawstring beneath the bust rather than elastic. Elastic never stays in place. If you move up it moves up. I want it to stay down. Maybe if i had bigger than B breasts it would?

The material used in this feels like a worn soft bedsheet and the fit is super flattering.
