I wanted to send a thank you gift to my awesome neighbors. My wife and I don't have kids ourselves, but I know my neighbors are busy parents (even more so during this pandemic) with two young children who I knew are picky eaters and gluten-free. So a simple search on Amazon for "gluten-free kid meals" brought up Yumble and what looked like a perfect gift with this Yumble 8 pack. I asked the dad for some info I could post as a review so he sent me a few hilarious videos of his kids eating the meals and doing a "taste test". Apparently, Dad also sampled some of the meals himself! Here's what he wrote:"They were easy to store, simple to prepare, and an easy way to get quality food into my children (who make a habit of complaining about just about anything we put in front of them). They especially liked the chicken nuggets! I really liked the oatmeal balls, though they were a little too complex of a flavor/texture profile for either of the kids. We refrigerated some of the meals and froze a couple others. They all prepared nicely and were tasty."The simplicity of the preparation make the meals a great option for when we get home from events and don’t have time to prepare a healthy meal before the kids melt down from hunger. I could see us using these regularly, however we would probably only select a couple of the dishes - the ones we know they will devour."The videos of his kids (which I won't share for their privacy) were priceless and had my wife and me rolling. My favorite quote from his son about the chicken nuggets was:"On a scale of 1 to 5, I give these 5. They were sooooooooo good. Actually, 10!"So there you go. These were a big success with picky eaters and saved the parents tons of time. Seems like a big win to me!

These meals were super easy and ready in just a couple minutes, needing nothing but the microwave. Loved the assortment which also included a breakfast meal and delicious snack poppers that actually lasted over a couple of snack sessions. Classic and simple kid favorites like cheesy pasta and chicken nuggets, but tasted like they came from a real kitchen. Nice bonus that the packaging was very eco-friendly. Would like to see additional assortments or customize your own assortment options for purchase.

Honest feedback from parents of a 2 and 4 yr old. They were convenient, well packaged, and arrived early. The meals were of acceptable quality, but the recipes are not very creative. Most meals were under cooked pasta entrees. 8.75$ per meal is a super high price to pay for food that is at best middle of the road quality and taste (think school cafeteria food). I'm not sure if anyone is actually tasting the food before it is shipped out, but they should because there were some questionable tastes and textures in the meals we received (the meatball snacks were like dog treats, the chicken was a slurry, not whole meat and was very spongy for example). I assumed for a premium price I would be getting premium food. My wife and I feel disappointed and most likely will not order again. Nice idea with cute packaging, but far too expensive for food that is mediocre at best.

As a father of two girls (5 and 2), and being in lockdown for almost three months, I was desperate to find a healthier way to feed my kids without spending a half an hour (or more) preparing their meals for lunch. What started out as a weekly plan of nutrition, devolved into almost 2-3 of the same meals every week. PBJ sandwiches, "lunchables", and whatever I could put together. And they ALWAYS hungry. Always! Constant dishes, constant mouths to feed. I needed help!So I took a chance on these meals since they had good reviews. And I'm so glad I did! The kids loved them! Hell, I had a couple bites and thought they were delicious. My eldest even asked for more after she finished one of the pasta meals. My youngest, who is somewhat picky, eats these up without any complaints. Finally, no more meal planning and my kids get some variety again. And the best part, I save myself more time during the day to get work done instead of preparing and cleaning over and over and over.....god I can't wait until they go back to school.

I was really wanting to like this product. I think it is great for the convenience factor, but unfortunately when you microwave foods, they tend to come out mushy. The chicken products (chicken nuggets/etc) specifically turned almost inedible. I have two kids that are texture oriented, so a crispy chicken nugget or a soft meatball is vital. The mac and cheeses were good and there were good reviews from my kids on the broccoli with cheese but overall it's still a microwave meal that seems to be lack luster. I am glad i was able to give this a try without having to buy a subscription service though! I would say give it a try, but don't have too high of hopes

The kit came in faster then was advertised which was nice. Our son loved the food and we love the fact that meal time is not a scramble to get something ready - and that the food is actually good for him.. I tasted the food (was curious) so can say that it tastes great. With everything going on, its nice to have a real meal for your kids that is easy to prepare and serve. Take some stress out the day - not to mention being happy you can serve a varied, healthy diet.
