It is an interesting concept a mask you wear at night to improve your skin when you sleep so I figured why not and decided to give it a try. Having used it for 2-3 times a week now before bed I'm not seeing what the "hype" is in the product and what it's actually supposed to do other than being a fancy way of saying it's a night time moisturizer cream. I mean you could almost call any moisturizer a mask as it sits on your face while you sleep right?You don't need much other than to give your skin a light coverage. That and you probably don't want to over do it in how much you squeeze out otherwise it won't soak in completely and you'll need to blot it off with a tissue. The only positives that stand out that I've encountered are that after it's absorbed it does an outstanding job at leaving the texture of your skin completely smooth and soft to the touch. The other positive would be it's highly hydrating. I do spread a little on my upper and lower eye lids being careful when I do it and I've had no irritation. I don't find I have any residue remaining on my face before bed or even after I wake up in the mornings. In fact I tend to sleep hot some nights and even in the case where it happened having the mask on, sweating didn't cause any breakouts or even change in how my skin felt.Other than that no substantial change in the brightness or color of my skin. In my opinion and being real it's basically like most any other quality moisturizer you'd use at night. Additionally the price is steep for most average consumers and I can easily find a product for less which moisturizes similarly and fits more comfortably within my budget. I DID give it 4 stars basing my decision solely on the condition of my skin feeling soft and knowing it's at least moisturizing and hydrating my face well.

This is a bit on the expensive side especially for being a small tube, so I would only recommend it to people with very sensitive skin that have failed with other products and overnight creams and masks.

It makes my skin feel soft and moisturized.I am almost done with the tube and I have yet to see any change on my skin, except for it feeling soft when applying.

This LANCER Overnight Brightening mask has a thick consistency and no scent. I usually can not use stronger vitamin C product overnight. But this LANCER mask is very gentle and does not irritate my sensitive skin. However, the first time I used it by massaging it in, the mask all rolled up like Elmer's glue. Through trial and error, I found out by gently spread the mask, then padding in helps. I'm not sure if it's caused by some cleanser leftover on my face, or it's the tube I received. But when the mask stays on the skin, it feels nice. So if anyone is interested in this mask, I suggest to really cleanse the face to remove any trace of cleanser and toner before using the mask.

This overnight mask does a wonderful job making my face feel hydrated and refreshed. I use a tiny amount and spread a thin layer over my face. Like other masks, it sits on top of my skin rather than absorbing, but doesn't feel incredibly wet or tacky. I had no problems falling asleep with it on because it felt very light.It gives my skin an extra boost and makes my face just feel more plump by the morning. It makes makeup go on much better, which is a plus.
