Good starter kit, or cheap base for modding
Usual floppy IBO joints that can be easily tightened up with some acrylic varnish or super glue.A pleasant build experience, no weird gotchas. Some color correcting stickers, no big panel lining jobs.A chonky legged platform with a bunch of extra parts you can use, or not. Its a nice base to scribe, plaplate up and paint.The mace is cool, the gun is basic (meh.) The rear pods mostly get on the way, or provide support in some poses.The standard build is cluttered though and limits head and arm movement due to the shoulder pauldrons and the tri-fin.The legs are reasonable with the high foot pieces elevating it just above the barbs.The red model on the left is this kit with modded pauldrons and the tri-fin side pieces snipped. The right model is an plain unmodded, unpainted barbs for comparison.Now to give some other poor gundam the crazy drill shield… Oh! the HG gold astray is on offer for $26…

It's not as good as HG Lupus but not as bad as HG Marchosias
So the kit overall I really like and was a fun build even though I've built these Gundam frames multiple times before. The purple-ish white color is unique and the triple v-fin is what sold me on getting it. But the articulation is not that great for some poses (or I just suck at posing Gundam) and the massive sticker sheet was a real disappointment. But other than that I really like the kit and was looking forward to it for about a month now.
