Race Driver: GRID - Platinum Edition (PS3)

Fantastic game.. It's what Colin McCrae for PS3 should have been; it's not the easiest of racing games but definitely addictive.In season mode the only negative is the 24Hr Le Mans, I found it hard and repetitive every time you came to the end of your season; close but not as good as Grand Turismo 6, still worth a try and you can't complain for the price £3.01 including postage and packing and I always select musicMagpie because the product is always great and the delivery time is as well; four days from order to delivery.

Grid is an amazing car racing game, the graphics and car damage are very realistic even though it is an old PS3 game. The races are not put into a simulator like gran turismo 5 but it isn't arcade like Need For Speed, which makes this game unique for fans of racing games. I didn't give the game a 5 star rating because it didn't have any trophies to achieve and earing trophies is sometimes very addicting due to it encouraging you to play back the races and unlock the trophies and challenges. This is my only downfall on the game.

Very very cool game - a real variety of racing types inc Muscle car, Touring car, Drift, Destruction derby etc and really attempts to get the feel of each rather than just changing the course graphics etc. Damage is also focused on as part of the game with it being very possible to end your race in one crash or coax your car to the finish line if not too serious. There is a 'rewind' option when you completely total it - letting you try the section again with a limited number of these available per race.For those just looking for a quick blast - this might not be the game for you but personally... I'd say still give it a go as there's a good chance you'll get addicted!Once you get into it and master the sometimes tricky controls it's an awesome game and I'd recommend it to anyone serious about racing games - buy it now!Pros: Contains lots of awesome!Cons: Takes some work to get the awesome

Needs steering sensitivity adjustment for controller. Great game ruined by the lack of steering sensitivity option. Maybe designed for a wheel, but no sense in not giving an adjustment to change sensitivity for controllers. Looks great, but with racing games its all about control. One mistake and your entire race wrecked.

Potentially a great racing game. However, I bought this game to use with my Logitech G25 steering wheel. There's a whole page dedicated to it in the user manual but no details of how to use this option? I've been on various forums asking this same question. No luck in finding how to use the steering wheel option yet. The game is virtually unplayable on the standard gamepad as my hands keep sliding off the grips - I have not got big hands I assure you. Going to keep researching but may just end up having to buy a bigger handled gamepad...
