Shhh!: Lift the Flaps But Don't Wake Up the Giant!

This was my daughter's favorite book as a child. I wanted to purchase it for my granddaughter. It's out of print so I had to buy it used. Seller was great and offered it reasonably priced. Some sellers were asking as high as $60.

This is a book that really deserves a reprint. The joy experienced by our kids of lifting the flaps as the story moves along has always been so much fun! I thought we had lost our old, very worn copy until I discovered our daughter took it to college with her. She teaches at a daycare and those kids LOVE the book, too. Our original copy had shown all the love and results of being a favorite with new readers. Imagining our daughter carrying that ratty looking copy into work was embarrassing. The used copy we bought showed signs of being appreciated by a previous owner but was in MUCH better shape than our copy. A truly fun book for the 4+ year old crowd. Interactive. Scary at a level they can accept and so fun to read with them!

my oldest grandaughter is almost 20 and this was her favorite as a toddler. she mentioned it recently and I was thrilled to find it and give it to her for Christmas..this seller was affordable and in excellent condition...brought back fond memories

This is a beloved book read over and over to my 10 grandchildren. They are grown now but still remember this book vividly. My granddaughter asked me to read it to her children at her school. The most loved book of any I ever read.
