These pointed round brushes are excellent for the watercolor work that I do. They come to a nice, sharp point, for fine work, and yet have a large belly (to hold lots of paint). So you can create small and large strokes all with one brush. These are very soft brushes, so they're best for watercolor, where you don't want to damage the paper. They're probably not stiff enough for acrylic work. The size range, 2-16, covers everything you need. Reminds me of my old Loew-Cornell brushes. Really nice!

These brushes are the ultra round brushes, so they are extra pointy. I wanted the billy showell painting brushes but these are similar to those. The brushes are well made but hold less paint.

Good brushes but also a great bargain for the whole set. These are the same as Lowe Cornell Ultras.
